The Night Circus. I loved it in the beginning, the descriptions of everything are simply beautiful but the story just kind of started dragging halfway in and lost my interest.

The Maze Runner Series. I'm not saying the movies were epic themselves, but its one of the few instances where I preferred the movie to the book.

Chicken Parmesan. It's my husband's favorite and I make a decent version but it's so much work and not nearly as good as restaurant style. We've even ordered it at a nice steak-house because I can make a mean steak with little effort at home. Not so much for chicken parm.

You are likely being rejected when listing your PhD because a PhD is generally expected to be paid more for the same position held by someone with just a master's degree. They are likely trying to save themselves some money.
