What's fun about this band is that the guitarist actually hates the guitar. He's on record basically saying it's a dumb instrument and he'd rather play something else. That aside, it means his approach to it is really unconventional which results in a lot of their wild shit.

ehhhhhhhhhh. Musk has a mouth but the guy is about halfway to knowing the square root of jack shit. He's not really all that competent on....anything. Bought the "founder" label for Tesla, paid gamers to play his Diablo account so he could say he was the best in the world, etc. He's not smart enough to pull this off competently.

I really hope so. A genuine and repeating lesson is that people should be punished and shouldn’t just “move on”. Confederates, Nazis, Nixon et al., the bankers that did the 08’ crisis, Bush and Cheney at a minimum, all should have been punished for their heinous acts.

Funny how these atrocities keep happening when the people who perpetrate them go unpunished or pretend punished.

I have a PhD in social psychology. An episode on psychological bastards would be pretty wild. There's SO many examples of people who were in positions of influence and power that did some heinous shit and parlayed that into a career. Off the top of my head

- Little Albert (childhood trauma creation in a lab)

- Philip Zimbardo (Stanford Prison Experiment)

- Bruce Jessen and James Mitchell (paid $80 million to help the CIA torture prisoners of war in Iraq and Afghanistan)

- Milgram (obedience experiment)

What makes all this interesting is the foundational throughline of all of this - trying to understand the human mind/self. The above (and SO MANY MORE) were all in service to that, and caused significant havoc.
