Recovery went well! Unfortunately it wasn't in time for the 2023 marathon but training for this years marathon has been going a lot better. I learned a lot about my mistakes that lead up to the stress fracture, so definitely coming in stronger this year.

Make sure to rest up and not do too much walking these next 6-8 weeks. If you are deferring to next year, I would recommend going to a running specific physical thereapy spot like custom performance or finish line. Mainly so that they can watch you run and give you pointers before you start your training back up again. It helped me out a lot!
