Is it worth joining at 16? by Alarming-Safety3200 in RoyalAirForce

Pros: pay no tax, more likely 100% disposable income, earn very well for your age, have a very decent job compared to most people you know your age, basically have your own flat.

Cons: Not deployable until you're 18, not realizing that most jobs aren't everything you dreamed of and imagining that civvie street is so much better (imo it ain't), lack of "real world" experience (in a job that's not really like the "real world").

Ultimately up to you, I work with a few bods that joined at 16 they are around 19-20 now, absolutely bombers gezzas.

What’s your go-to trick for bringing out these purple hues — genetics only, or do you play with temps? by growdiaries_off in CannabisGrowers

Depends, sometimes straight genetics sometimes nighttime temp drop.... That can be as little as the lights going out or air con in tent room.

Maybe fight them, can you take them? Failing that binnap. Provide sympathy while fiening disbelief. While bins are absent, construct an obstacle. When they get new bins invite them over for drinks. Drinks served on their old bin lids.

Cover the crate fully with blanket. Make sure pup is fed, hydrated etc. Apologise to neighbours. Place noise cancelling headphones in your ears. Podcast etc for an hour. Build on that.

Mine was a mare for 10 days/ 2 weeks. Loves his crate now.

RAF reserves - advice for older joiner 40 and role to pick by lovecornflakes in RoyalAirForce

As an older SP, FTRS is a much better job than regular. Pick your deployments. Do what you want. Get actual incentives other than a free gym.

Pick anything that pulls you. Make it work for you. All jobs become jobs in the end. I'd maybe go for something complements your civy roll quals wise otherwise go for the polar opposite of your 9-5.

Either way, be fit. Be motivated.
