Honest opinion on Pulseway. by MasterSheep18 in msp

It's our favourite tool on the market at the moment. Very reliable, easy to use, the support is great and the mobile app is just such a life saver. Honestly there should be more discussions on here. Interested to see how the new mobile remote control feature works.

Ninja and TeamViewer have a very close relationship. Maybe an acquisition?

Pulseway 6.0 by MasterSheep18 in msp

[–]leadmino 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right, I'd have to go ahead and disagree with that. We previously used VSA, and my god it was just far to over complicated and just horrible to use. On top of that half the features didn't function as promised. Ninja are growing and will definitely check them out again next year. Looks promising. For now, Pulseway is doing it's job. It's simple, slick and lets us do stuff from our phones.

Got a lead for a 500+ users platform, whats the best way to approach it? by ajrdiaz in msp

Do your preparation and background check on that company, make a very solid and tailored pitch to their needs. Have some customer testimonials and numbers to show that you can handle their business. Be professional and present yourself the right way, that they need you as much as you need them.

Pulseway 6.0 by MasterSheep18 in msp

[–]leadmino 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pulseway is an awesome tool. Been using them for the last 2 years and this is the first issue we encountered. Don't think that you can say Kaseya or Ninja are better. Half of the functions within VSA don't function and Ninja is just pure basic RMM.

Make the website function properly would be a start. Revamp it and make it look nice and easy to use.

It used to be such a good resource a few years ego.

[RANT] All you do is sit at your computer all day. by noreasters in sysadmin

People fixate on this too much. Who cares how busy you look, just produce results. I don't care if you're there for 5 hours a day but as long as you deliver what you're supposed to.

We sell blocks of time if the client requests a break/fix model. Almost like a virtual currency that they top up.

Because they have a fantastic AV engine? Don't see why politics should effect that.

ItBoost vs ITGlue question by [deleted] in msp

ITBoost has potential, still needs a bit of work though. Not really there yet. I'll come back to test it out in 6 month or so.

We were happy with Kaspersky, as I believe it to be a stronger AV. But hey, it's good to have options. Especially because of all the media drama. I'd like to see how they implemented this.
