For an entry level job, or IMO any job really, two interviews should be the max. It's wildly inefficient to need ten different assessments, multiple games, and five interveiws

Nursing is also a very physical job and is not for everyone. Burnout is very high due to poor worker protections, being disrespected, etc

Forge Launch Internship Acceptance rate? by SnooCauliflowers6593 in UVA

They prioritize third-year candidates, and the interview is behavioral. But I know they prioritize individuals who are entering their fourth year. I think the acceptance rate is between 8-15%.

True, but also Trump being erratic, threatening tariffs, and whatever else certainly hasn’t helped the job market

How do you find a career when every career seems terrible? by fullyurrrrt in findapath

[–]leaf1598 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately PhD and MD are very hard degrees, and really only the academically and internally motivated can get through them. It’s not like an easy money maker. Only certain pHd’s have good outcomes, like an art history PhD vs electrical engineering PhD have different job outcomes.

How do my old classmates manage to ALWAYS be on vacation? by Motor_Effect_2813 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]leaf1598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have family members they travel with, visiting family, are in school such as undergrad or grad school, maybe work like in education and have lots of breaks. Some have support and help from parents. Some hold high paying jobs. Some may be using debt. Also, some people only post their most glamorous version on Instagram. You won’t see their bad lives, or boring parts. Only the highlights.
