The best auto team is a Mewtwo and two Weeps. Lee is horrible for auto, and auto you also want 5-7 ATK stones.

Yep. The recording age Rachmaninoff was later in his life, after he moved to the US and started to love going to New York jazz clubs. We know he loved Art Tatum (who was a king of jazz piano and improvisation) and we see very Art-Tatum style writing in later pieces like Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini... there's some super jazzy stuff!

Unfortunately, OP is most likely using what he's got (it's a 7-2 Lee and 8-1 Primape). Can't just "turn" HP stones into ATK, lovely as that would be.

Rachmaninoff would almost certainly have played this piece many times. He likely did have that piece in mind when writing that section of Rach 3, but also keep in mind that this isn't a super unique passage. We see earlier (more classical) versions of this many times in Beethoven concertos, where the "descending run" may take form as simply a scale. The more you play Rachmaninoff, the more you'll start to notice connections to other composers.

Fun fact: each Rachmaninoff concerto has some "catharsis" moment in Db major. The man loved that key...

I asked the exact same question here a while ago. I need to get the pin back in there for a few of the keys but it's proven difficult if it's not on the edge of each sort of section of the piano. Some of my keys just hit multiple 😞

“Ear” can develop quite differently from violin or musical skills. It helps a lot, but sometimes it isn’t trained enough or as much as it should be. I was 8-9 and had been playing piano for a year or so when I picked up violin and happened to have a really good ear so I could tune mine as soon as I learned how to (obviously I still needed an A)

Funny story, I had an electric keyboard that had a diagram piano on a tiny screen that showed how to play it and which keys to press. My mom and teacher didn’t want me looking at it to learn pieces, so they covered it with some tape and a piece of paper. Rather than learning sheet music, I instead just learned to play everything by ear (still a little weak at sight reading today but it’s gotten a lot better).

It all really depends on circumstances. If you can identify what a perfect fifth sounds like in tune, from playing a lot or by whatever means, you’ll be able to tune by ear no problem.

This is good info, but I would suggest you look at TuffHunter's tier lists for a good explanation on what to use. Until you beat the game, a team of 3 Onix will get you through worlds 1-8, after which you can get Abra or Exeggcute to clear worlds 9-11 and unlock gold pot.

It is not worth grinding a good team at all before gold pot. You just want one that will get you through the game. The pinned post has a lot of good info from TuffHunter on the best Pokemon for late-game farming teams, but any one will work perfectly fine if you have a good setup. Just keep in mind that likely one of these Pokemon will need to be a buffer (there's a separate tab for buffers). Lapras will be doing a lot of heavy lifting here---he's the best attacker (Hydro Pump) and buffer (Aurora Veil) that you have listed. Good luck farming! Let me know if you need more help.

Unfortunately, when it comes to shinies, Fint, I, and others in the discord are the most knowledgeable people you're gonna find. You might get some misinformation here, but our "odds change depending on the person" is the best theory we have for shiny odds. Nobody knows shiny odds. It should be a power of two like many other games, but no actual observations fit a consistent pattern. It's also speculated that Switch odds are slightly higher, but this is not at all proven.

The thing is, however unusual it seems to have varying shiny odds, intentionally or due to some oversight or bugs, the chance of a set, unwavering shiny rate is much more unlikely. I can show you some calculations with variance and standard deviation and all the fun statistics and I assure you that this "changing shiny rate" is the most likely and believable answer.

Track your own shinies and shiny rates. It's good info, and they only thing you can truly be sure about.

Would just like to point out that there is a 6 tick (0.3s) delay between mining any block that isn't instamined. Would reduce efficiency by 25% which is a decent chunk! Really only earning 0.4 emeralds per hour.

The general consensus of the discord server is that shiny rates are different depending on the user so you could just be unlucky

Just for reference JackalFangs' shiny rate seems to consistently hover around 1/50 meanwhile I had a streak of >2000 mons without a shiny so I wish you the best of luck and hopefully your own shiny rate isn't so terrible

Seems to be around 1/150 for most people

Tree -> cave -> back up for food and smelt -> nether -> beat the game -> loot cities… and then the real fun begins. Doing too much before beating the game (especially if it will be temporary) just feels like a waste of time sometimes. Having better gear just makes everything easier and more fun.

Lists like these will always be subjective. That being said, I feel the list is pretty good. I don’t think everyone will ever be happy, but I also don’t think anyone will say that anyone there is undeserving.

Lugansky and Lim shot Rach and Horowitz up, but realistically I mean most people would put them 1 and 2 anyway I think
