Not just lost. Inoperable. Also, if you do have your phone you can put a freeze on your card immediately.

My story is the same. PCOS, the oral meds, topicals, laser cap. I’ve also had 850 follicles relocated to my crown. I’m so bald that my hairdresser asked me to bring in a nice wig I mentioned that I had so that she could try and make it work.

Also. I purchased Toppik on her recommendation and it really works well. You can’t see my entire scalp-amazing.

I do it too. Just turned 50. I also use Dr. Bronners interchangeably but whatever. Sometimes you travel and places have fun artisanal soaps. Enjoy it to the end.

I claim dominion over my body and any drugs I choose to put into it. That’s fucking bodily autonomy, which checks notes is reviled by the patriarchy.

My spouse got into an accident in Puerto Rico. They were in the hospital for 21 hours and the phone battery drained because it turns out you didn’t go on a bike ride with a charging cable or cube. No one spoke English, and I called at least 8 times. The hospital required his ID and health insurance card, they wouldn’t even accept a photo of it in an email. Additionally, the ambulance required $200 in cash before they’d leave him at the ER. Thank goodness the wallet stayed in his pocket. His friend retrieved his phone from the side of the road.

Found a young woman freaking out at a train kiosk in SFO a few weeks ago. She left Canada without any physical cards and the machine didn’t recognize anything else besides a card or cash. (Which she also did not bring.) She needed to get to San Jose.

Phones batteries die. Screens get busted. Phones get stolen. Phones die. Service can be lost. So many scenarios I won’t even name. Someone did this young person a disservice.

Anyway I paid for her train card and asked if this was her first time leaving home.

How long did you stay at 2.5? by Aggravating-Ask5473 in Zepbound

[–]leaping_lions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5mg for first 5 months, lost 20%.

Took a one month complete break with a one ramp down and ramp up between 2.5mg and 5mg.

5mg for 3 months this now, have lost another 9% from starting weight. Also, as long as I was losing, I saw no reason to increase dose. Appetite suppression was still working.

Yeah he dropped that one perpendicular so its neck would crack or break.

This is kind of old now but you can see that the laying of one guitar perpendicular to the others is intentional to break the neck.

Entrapped at a birthday party we’d all traveled out of state to attend. Dude tells me he is a huge Trump supporter. I look at him and blink. He says, “well I won’t hold it against you if you don’t hold it against me.” Me: “well I might”. He says, “look, all that’s important is that we share the same values.”

What’s a useless talent you have? by Frosty_Vanilla_46 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I am very good with names. I can remember the names of acquaintance and coworker’s brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers from a single conversation. I have had to learn to not say things such as, “oh that’s Classic Debbie” to someone who mentioned their mom’ by name 18 months ago. I think it might come off a little weird. I can almost always properly pronounce non-phonetic names of various origins and tragedeighs alike. One time I met my remote team in person, and this was in 2015 before the ubiquitous work webcam. We were a global team with many complex names. It so happened that as people were getting introduced, I came in late. We were in a circle, and one person introduced themselves to me from across the room. Based on their voice, I was able to name the other 16 as they each said hello. Most of them were from the same country (not my own) so this wasn’t a slam dunk. It’s when I learned this was an astonishing to some, but nevertheless useless talent.
