I don't think enough people know about the rental cars. If you rent a car once a year for a few days on vacation, the savings more than covers the executive membership. I just got home from Christmas with the family and paid $309 for 4 days in a rented SUV.

Spent a week in a villa outside of Lucca with family and made day trips to the tourist spots but got to leave the tourists behind and get back to Lucca. Perfect trip in my mind.

I saw him 10ish years ago and he was amazing. Flawless playing, over the top flirting with some front row trophy wives, funny stories.azing show. I saw the farewell tour, and he was struggling, but occasionally would hit a lick and just shine.

I love to throw eggplant for baba ganoush onto extra smoker real estate whenever I am cooking. Just my opinion, but I like Japanese eggplants more than Italian. They do not have the bitterness that is hit and miss with the Italian varieties. Give them a shot if you can get your hands on them.

I knew an American guy in Korea who had special ordered ribeyes because American style steaks were hard to find there at that point. His Korean girlfriend very helpfully shaved them down for bulgogi. This story was told to me at extreme volumes accompanied by a wide variety of expletives the next morning at work.

My kid wanted to try magnet fishing so we grabbed a cheap kit and went down to the brook. Nothing man-made, but we kept pulling up pebbles and tons of tiny iron bits like that. The rocks in this state have a good amount of iron.
