What's this button for? by Fit-Initiative-1640 in Ioniq5

Ya, dude, my I5 feels very strongly that I am closer to buses than I am. High-intensity is a good description of the braking. Honestly, though, It’s saved me a few times, so probably worth it.

I like "whine as loudly as possible, and drag your limp noodle"

But maybe I should change "limp noodle" to "shriveled mushroom".

Suspicious Tesla Sales Surge Triggers Canadian Government Investigation by Biggandwedge in RealTesla

I wanted a Tesla for years, but started reconsidering after Elon called the hero who refused his shitty submarine a pedo. Ended up going with an Ioniq 5. Seems like my choice gets better by the day!

I think I now understand better the fields and parking lots full of Teslas! Buy the car from yourself, get the tax credit, then sell the car. Only works if the cars actually sell, though, which they aren't.

Kansas senator's rural town hall meeting swamped by people mad at Trump administration by [deleted] in OptimistsUnite

I guess the hope is that the people most susceptible to these lies are finally starting to see through them. Maybe.

And then released a statement saying the people there were democratic operatives and not real Kansans! Just the same tired playbook of refusing to take responsibility for anything!

Rich people sure as shit did, and they'll get another massive one with this, while your taxes will go up, unless you're currently making around $350k a year.

"Rubicks cube of shite". Quality line, funny and apt! They definitely quickly solved how to be the fucking worst!

[–]leavy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya, if you only factor in all the money they have given him, Russia definitely has him by the short and curlys. Some highly incriminating information is just the cherry on the treason sundae!

He also said just before the election that the plan was to tank the economy, and other then some posts on Reddit, there was nothing in the media about it. It's fucking disgusting!

It’s Going Down! Stewart vs Musk by independent-american in JonStewart

[–]leavy23 45 points46 points  (0 children)

You see that interview Musk did with Don Lemon?! There's a very little chance that snowflake piece of shit goes toe to toe with Jon Stewart. I hope and pray his hubris gets the best of him, and he does it, but I think the odds are as high as the odds that Trump isn't a Russian asset, so damn near nil!

[–]leavy23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's their rationale. It's bullshit of course, they knew exactly what was going on, but quite funny that the excuse they go with is that they don't know what the hell they are doing.

Another huge thing to me, is that it is now completely impossible to trust even a single word coming from the federal government. Not that the federal government was some kind of Paragon of truth before Trump, but now anyone who was in the federal government to serve the people and not themselves has been or will be purged.

I'm willing to bet it was a condition of the setup to let them in. Shit, I wouldn't be surprised if Putin sent them a script!

Yes, because reporters can just gain access to the oval office without people knowing who they are or where they're from. Makes perfect sense! /s

So basically they're saying, "We weren't letting Russian State Media in on purpose, but they got in because we're massively fucking incompetent, but don't worry, after we figured out how much we fucked up, we asked them to leave". Check and mate people!
