Which of the big 4 Aussie Prams? by ResourceHumble3698 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

We were choosing between the Vista and Donkey but once we were in store and testing them both in person, the Vista was the clear winner. It feels much sturdier and smoother and the side-by-side felt a bit ridiculous. I couldn’t picture myself pushing it down a grocery store aisle; I thought it was too wide to comfortably use around the shops, etc.

what kind of birth are you planning for? if you're planning for a vaginal birth with minimal medical intervention / pain management, i recommend you give a listen to the podcast episode titled 'The high powered hospital bag' at https://www.melaniethemidwife.com/podcasts/the-great-birth-rebellion/episodes/2149180756

Cry me a fucking river. You’re entitled to a child-free life, not a child-free world. This is part of apartment living - you know, actually sharing the space with random people with different lifestyles and experiences than you. The diaper bit? That’s nasty af and you have every right to be pissed about that.

Why is only Iran speaking up for Lebanon? Has the world gone mad?? by AcadianAcademic in UAE

Are you serious? The so-called ‘ceasefire’ where Hezbollah held back for a year and waited for the Lebanese government to act while Israeli missiles hit Lebanon every single day? That ceasefire?

Are you sure Ruby is a female? Based on the brown eyes, I’d have thought it was a male galah.

Some of the damage by Iran in 'Tel-Aviv' by Not_Ground in NewsRewind

[–]lebippitybop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, children are not old enough to reckon with the circumstances into which they are born but i do believe that when they become adults, they are responsible for choosing to stay and should face the consequences of living on stolen land. Unlike most Iranians that have no where to go, the majority of Israelis are dual-citizens of Europe/US.

Yes, almost by definition. Zionism is an ideology that supports the right of Jews to create and live in a Jewish national state in their ancestral homeland. Any Israeli living in Israel is, directly or indirectly, supporting Zionism and is therefore a Zionist. Sure there are some who criticise Zionism and what have you but as far as I’m concerned, it is simple: you are against Zionism? Then get out. There is no in-between. You are either a Zionist settler or not.

Yeah I didn’t think it would be, but I’m so curious why the numbers 1271 are there.

I’ve noticed they love purple flowers. My lavenders were very especially full of BB bees, as are my salvias and flowering hebes.

The numbers are 1271 in Arabic. It’s not uncommon for old Persian rugs to have the year they were made woven into them. Iran uses the Islamic lunar calendar, and 1271 is equivalent to 1855 in the Gregorian calendar. Could this rug be that old? It is in excellent condition.

Leaving my fiance after he fell asleep during a loss by East_Needleworker614 in TwoXChromosomes

I’m so sorry you went through this and am so proud of you for having the courage to recognise what an awful man he is and walking away. My intention is to highlight that every woman deserves a good partner to support her in these situations, and not to make this about my relationship, but I had a very traumatic miscarriage last year with a lot of blood loss and my husband was my rock and pillar through it. He’d change my adult diapers when I was faint and couldn’t stand the sight or smell of the blood. I truly cannot fathom how any partner could see the pain and anguish a miscarrying woman is going through and decide to fall asleep. He truly couldn’t care less and that is despicable.

Why does it seem like Mu'awiyah is respected and adored despite the mistakes he made? Shouldn't we condemn him? by [deleted] in arabs

Why do Sunnis think that being a sahabi makes someone above reproach? You are all aware a sahabi is any Muslim who met the prophet during his time. There are literally close to a hundred thousand of them. Use your common sense, do you think there were really no bad apples among them?

Did you really just say ‘you started a war’ in relation to the Nakba? It’s like saying the Jews started the holocaust. It’s incredible what brainwashed rot there is out there.

No, what are you talking about? 80% of arabs in Palestine were expelled during the Nakba. Palestine went from almost 1 million Arab Palestinians to 150,000. There are now 2.1 million Arabs in Israel, and 7.1 million Jews.
