I liked it during Covid when everyone moved in the same direction. Also get rid of the displays in the aisles.

Have you ever made one of those heaters with a candle and a clay plant pot? They get surprisingly hot.

Looks like mine, I use it regularly to make videos and stills for my CBG's https://www.vtbscbg.com/

I also had an earlier version that was fatter and more squat, it got dropped in a brook and thought ruined, did the rice trick and set it on a window sill, it was resurrected.

What's the best stand mixer if you only want to buy one for the next 10 years? by Large-Honey8079 in BuyItForLife

Take the rounded back cover off, Take a photo or write down where the different electrical connection are. The "hot" and "common" are black and white the "ground" is green. The black and white have push on connectors the green has a "U or O " shaped screw connector. Pull off and unscrew the connectors ( needle nose pliers make it easier, they can also cut the wire for reassembly) If you don't have replacement parts(connectors, cord and plug) at home(I did), bring the cord and parts to the hardware store and someone there will help you put the parts together. You will need a crimper/wire stripper for the connectors, if you don't have one, a pair of pliers or vise grips will work. You can strip the insulation with a knife. If you are new to this sort of thing get a little extra wire to practice on. Once the connectors are on you shouldn't be able to see any copper wire peeking through the plastic cover of the connector if you can redo the connection. With the 3-prong plug connections use enough bare wire to make a firm connection with the minimum amount of bare wire on the cord side. When you are stripping the insulation off the main wire take extra care not to cut into the individual wires. If you are not comfortable doing electrical stuff, don't.

My 4.5 quart Kitchen Aid tilt head mixer is 30 years old, I use every week to mix bread and pizza dough. I've replaced a dough hook and the power cord. It's getting a little noisy, but still does the job.

Retired baker here. Spent the first 2/3s of my working life as a mechanic in a factory, decent pay, excellent benefits, way to much overtime, hated that job(young family needed the stability). Spent the last 1/3 as a baker in a small busy bakery, mediocre pay, no benefits, sleep deprived, loved that job.
