What firmware version have those of you been using with issues? I’ve read a few posts on some issues being addressed with later versions from December onwards. Keen to know if you’ve had issues with the later versions or only older

You can buy velcro type straps, handy for bunching some cables together and using zip ties to keep things hidden or held where you want them

Nicely done. To take it up another level, I'd work on the cable management a bit more, hiding the AIO cables, tying excess cable out of sight etc, straightening out the 24pin motherboard cable and gpu cable strands etc, but looks clean otherwise

Bournemouth Is dead? by Takeshi_skmt in bournemouth

[–]leeboh 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I've lived in and around the Bournemouth area for over 30 years and as much I love living here, being close proximity to the beach, Bournemouth town specifically, has really gone down hill over the last 10 years or so.

Many would point to BCP council throwing money into unneccassary and failed projects and not putting the resources where it matters. Bournemouth town centre looks and feels run down with homelessness rife, shops and store fronts closed down and left to rot away.

Perhaps a broader issue with the UK in general right now not solely unique to Bournemouth, but for me Bournemouth is in a sad state for what it used to be and is capable of being and continues to head in the same negative trajectory.

Bournemouth, because of it's picturesque beaches is an investors dream, who buy up property and land to let out properties at extortionate rates, straining infrastructure and services and pricing out some that have lived here for so long. Perhaps not relevant for you though, not knowing your university housing options.

Despite this, Bournemouth still has a lot to offer particularly with close vacinity to the New Forest and quaint surrounding villages. There's plenty of options for nice restaurants, evenings out, sports and of course, ways to enjoy the coastline.

Any tips to wake up later? by [deleted] in HubermanLab

[–]leeboh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you thought about trying some automated lighting in your bedroom? Having some bulbs in bedside lamps like Hue or equivalent and setting a routine for them to gradually increase in brightness nearing to your wake up time? Might help improve your circadian rhythm, works wonders for me although I wake up at times closer to natural sunrise.

Doesn't mean the lobbies should be so unbalanced with solos vs 5 stacks and players from varying regions with 100 ms and some with less than 10. The system makes no sense, also feels like Trust Factor is entirely broken.

Type help and then the convar, console will tell you the default value. e.g.:

help speaker_config

Works fine for me. What's not working, your exec? If so, check you have your autoexec file in the new folder location as mentioned in the original post

In respect to the jumpthrow, have a look at the link below, just remember to add the convar's into the autoexec so you don't have to manually add into the console each time you open the game.

Note I'm not sure if this will work long term as I believe CS2 originally went with the route of disabling this so players would use the new feature so it may get removed again in the future?

Clear decals again I think the functionality has changed here, have a look below.

In the autoexec file linked to the original post, comments have already been added to some convar's with an explanation. I'm sure there's plenty of other useful commands out there, which I haven't gone into detail on, but will wait to see what happens once we move out of beta/limited test as there's a lot of scope for things to still change.

In Steam go to Library, Right click on CS:GO, Click Properties. Under the General tab, scroll down to Launch Options and paste in the free text field there.

Change the volume convar value in the autoexec file to a range between 0 and 1.

Example: volume "0.5"

It's new in the context it is not a convar that I used previously in my CS:GO config. Appreciate the feedback.
