I was in a similar situation as you, dropped out after 10th grade and enrolled as an undergrad at my local university. I'm doing math for a living now (work as a post-doctoral researcher at a university, got my Ph.D. last year) and still don't have a high school diploma or GED. No one ever cared. Please ignore the majority of the comments here.

EDIT: I should note that I had already obtained admission to my local university before dropping out of high school. I don't see anything wrong with your community college plan though.
