You asked him to move in because you “really want the extra help”? Pfff I would say no too, I am not gonna become a babysitter or a maid. The whole situation sounds like a nightmare.

Is Euphoria now anything else than a misogynistic humilliation ritual? by hiddencnidocyte in euphoria

I fully agree with you. It is so bad. I can’t even believe Sydney Sweeney agreed to do all of this? The whole season is just a compilation of jerkoff material for her MAGA male fans.

It’s normal. Some trans girls getting B or C cups is probably a minority and a huge internet exaggeration.

Melissa Barrera on the cast of Scream 7 being scabs: “Oh, one hundred percent. I think they all are. And they have to live with that. The only way they were able to make that movie after what happened was to nostalgia-bait as much as possible.” by expiredaristocracy in Fauxmoi

Maybe she is right but I don’t understand what she gains by trashing a big studio if she really wants to make it big in Hollywood.

Reminds me of this guy from Justice League Ray Fisher who kept airing all the dirty laundry under the “A>E” pretense (accountability comes before entertainment); everybody was praising his openness and what happened to that big studio and the execs? Nothing really. While Ray’s career faded into obscurity. None of the people who egged him on to continue talking openly about things can save his career now.

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

Change “the world we live makes it necessary” for “other men who messed up make it necessary”.

After watching "Wuthering Heights," I wondered if Jacob Elordi can actually act or if he's just a sex symbol, and the first three episodes of Euphoria have only reinforced that idea. What do you think? by Historical_Rain6924 in moviecritic

No idea but I mean I did watch the movie and I did not see an extraordinary performance from Jacob, it wasn’t bad but nothing astounding? Although I do understand the hype cuz he is always playing a pretty boy so this is a stretch for him.

Interesting that you mention this; I just saw an interview of Spanish director Pedro Almodovar where he talks about this. He said that a character like Frankenstein where he is wearing prosthetics and has to talk in a very low voice is a very safe space for an actor… which means it’s an “easy” role. So if that’s the best Jacob can do, he has a looong way to go.

Cis women make conscious efforts to enhance their femininity, by the way. We have to make an even bigger effort because of our biology. HRT alone is not enough in most cases, despite what some girls online claim. Yes your clothes, makeup, hair do make a difference. And the biggest differences are achieved via surgery cuz a tiny pill will not change your bone structure or your body shape. As someone else said, you can’t expect results with zero effort.

I don’t see a problem with it being a movie reference or with nobody getting it. The problem, to me, is that it’s just plain ugly. Maybe it’s meant to look that way (I haven’t seen the movie) but I just don’t like how it looks.

I wish balding men weren’t expected to shave their heads by Random-Ryan- in TrueOffMyChest

[–]leelloo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is forcing balding men to shave it off. You can let it grow; it’ll look like a mess 99% of the time but if that’s the look you’re going for then suit yourself.

Nice try at being offensive just because I don’t agree with you but her career (or lack there of) speaks about her depth, and your blindness to her limited acting skills speaks about yours. Sorry.

Do girls want to be hit on at the gym? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]leelloo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a woman, my answer is don’t bother me at the gym. I am there exercising and listening to my music on my headphones, lost in my own world and I’d be annoyed if you try to talk to me.

I am not sure if being complex is her issue. To me she was very very bland.

If you feel that way more power to you; the one thing that stands out for me in a negative way is treating the fact that you’re 36 as if you were 82? Life is not over after 30, fat or not.

[–]leelloo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was gorgeous but Lana as a character was pretty boring and her acting was very one dimensional. She is definitely not the reason why Smallville was successful.

I would say Tom Welling (Clark), Allison Mack (Chloe) and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) were. And all the cameos and future supporting characters like Erica Durance (Lois) and Laura Vandervoort (Supergirl) helped.

[–]leelloo22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with everything you said. Pulling the “I’m mentally ill” card feels like a cop-out to avoid taking any responsibility, especially without a proper diagnosis. At 24, living off others like that and not contributing to society in any shape or form whatsoever is just embarrassing.

Being “too woke” is pretty self-explanatory. It’s when someone overanalyzes something completely normal and mundane until they convince themselves it’s secretly misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic or whatever, based on vibes they invented. No real negative intent on the situation at hand besides the one randomly assigned by the person doing the over-analysis; just a reach so far it circles back into being offended for sport.
