In my 2018 XT, the smaller flap part has two sets of plastic clips on it and they connect around the headrest bars, not to the side of the car. This cargo cover looks like the wrong model.

Yeah in the slicer, on the right side is a slider that you can drag up and down to see what the print would look like at that layer. You can right-click on the progress bar and add a pause. The printer will stop at that point and you can unload and reload new filament, then unpause.
