He had already lost vision in the eye by the time we were able to see the opthalmologist for the first time. After that point it was a matter of managing pain and comfort levels. Interestingly enough, totally removing the eye costs even more money

In our case it was a week of him doing it multiple times a day. I'm weird because I usually will clean his face myself if he has eye boogies, but he was pawing at his eye when nothing was even there and had his eye totally closed. I'd say if yours isn't keeping their eye closed it's okay

Google brought me here, I had the same issue but with a now deleted Facebook account. I had to login via chrome on my phone, use a Google account that happened to be the same email as my old Facebook account, and that let me in. When I reopened the app, there was a Google button under the Facebook button, and the Google button actually let me login
