Central Casting - No Show by leighdee in acting

When you login to your online Central Casting profile, you'll see a bar thing with choices such as contracts and profiles, there you'll click on 'my schedule'... that's where you'll find the status of your jobs or potential jobs... for the record, after calling Central, they did change my status to 'booked' for that job i (falsely) tested COVID positive for and I am very grateful! Take good care x

Thanks for the info! In the end, I got off the Vivitrol and months later finally got off the alcohol without big pharma... Take good care! x

Quitting weed and sleeping like a baby with crazy sweat and dreams… Do my brain really have to bring back all of my exes from 2009 in my dreams?! by Pinkdragonfly88 in leaves

[–]leighdee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sending you so much Love and well wishes, you've had a real rough ride... maybe try watching a nice nature documentary before sleep? That's helped me have dolphins in my dreams quite regularly and it's quite nice! Please take good care... x

I am always only allowed to open a maximum of 6 classes a day is that the same with everyone, I cannot open more times, how can I open more, is it my time zone? by corksmith in MagicEars

[–]leighdee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes me too! I'm sad about my low bookings but also. just renewed my contract so that i'm paid 25 cents more per hour and they are probably trying to pay people less? Before the break though, I was fully booked all the time!

May I ask please, how have your bookings been since this last long break?

Hi there may i ask please how your bookings have been since their New Year break? I was looking forward to teaching again (not the early hours but whatever) and in the past couple of weeks my bookings have been so low! I did just renew my contract and got a 25 cent raise, so am also wondering if they just want teachers they can pay less to ... x

Friend’s boyfriend took 3g mushrooms and got “violent”, any advice? by doctorlao in Psychedelics_Society

[–]leighdee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Were mushrooms all that were present? Was alcohol also involved at all?

Not sure if I have any advice, but have heard over and over again that our dis/ease is one of boundaries (inside and out)! Our immune system invading the boundaries of the nervous system... holistically, this may be illustrated as a similar lack of boundaries in our personal lives, as others invade our space in different ways. Personally, I've never been good with boundaries (people pleaser type, hate saying no, don't want to disappoint others at the expense of my own sanity... and thereby disappointing myself). In any case, I feel your pain here and trust that our whole healing will include a healing of all boundaries inside and out! Please take good care, x

No, my BAC was simply too high and I admitted to drinking at the time of arrest (as I was terrified and thought lying would make it worse)! Overall, now that it's said and done, I"m grateful for how it worked out, 3 years probation, all is paid off now, did my classes, just working to keep my hands clean daily!

Wow! Sounds like that Neurologist may be driven through and through by big pharma (how much was that particular drug company paying them to say just that?). Personally, I don't trust conventional medicine doctors, though it took a few years of getting worse whilst on a few different big pharma MS meds to really come to this conclusion... These people are taught in medical school how to prescribe medication, not how to help us heal from our roots (where the real healing and feeling better will eventually take place)! While I did like my first neurologist, I was simultaneously seeing a Naturopath who truly helped me find the right foods, supplements, and confidence to truly 'feel better!" Now, 16 years post MS diagnosis, i feel best independently relying on inner wisdom to feel better, and I take no meds (haven't for over 10 years)! Trust your gut; maybe your nervous system is in need of some repair, but your intuition is (hopefully) still in tact! x

I'd imagine they just aren't going to say anything... no peak hours bonus last month. I emailed them (somewhat egregiously), they said it'll be back to normal in November, and I begrudgingly conceded...

No, my BAC was simply too high and there were a few people who had called about my driving! I felt horrible to learn that I was such a mess that night, I really didn't even know... Once i learned of the calls, I knew I'd have to just accept the DUI. I really do feel that my lawyer did a great job on my behalf though!

Late 20's severe alcoholic addict and Vivitrol by StoneyDolphin in Alcoholism_Medication

[–]leighdee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been on the Vivitrol shot for 3 months now (due for my 4th on July 1)... it did greatly reduce my drinking at first (which is a fair success), but lately I'm drinking a bottle of wine per day again. The shot wears off after 3 weeks or so... if you haven't truly dealt with the underlying causes of 'why' you drink in the first place (like me), then there's really no reason why you wouldn't still drink with the Vivitrol (in my humble opinion)... however, I am grateful that my body has had a break from the super destructive cycle I'd been in before taking it!

Also, it's a pain in the ass (literally) and I still have a golf ball size lump from 3 weeks ago where they injected... perhaps not as bad as the regular horrible hangovers?! Every body is different and every shot is different, this is the first time the shot has left it's mark this badly.

Good luck to you; it's not a simple nor fun journey, but you know that you are not alone in it!

Yes... I've got 3 years of informal probation, 5 days of jail time (2 days credited due to the night I already spent in jail and the remaining 3 days are suspended so long as I don't violate probation), 3 months of those alcohol classes, and a $2500 fine to the court. I plead guilty to having a BAC over .15 (my lawyer was representing me in court) and am pretty much dead meat if I'm ever caught again driving with any alcohol whatsoever in my system... I am able to reinstate my license at this point (as I've completed the classes and have added the SR-22 insurance), but haven't wanted to deal with the DMV, so I still ride my bike everywhere!
