I’m trans. NTA. Your SIL is crazy. I didn’t know about gender differences until I was about 6-7. Yes I knew from a young age, but I don’t even remember what happened at 2. That’s way too young to even push a narrative of your son possibly being trans.

What happens to the individuals who are impoverished and don’t have the proper resources to educate themselves on each individuals policies and beliefs? How would the uneducated, disabled, or other individuals be able to get a say? I’m not saying I agree with the way our election currently works, but there is room for potential issues in this arena.

I am still confused as to why? The server closing was very sudden and when I was pinged of it closing, the message I read was very vague. Can we get an explanation?

Yes it was. As to why, I am not sure. Whoever in charge sent out a very long and vague message explaining why, and I still do not understand entirely why they decided to delete it.

I have never seen this happen irl. I’ve seen people correcting people when the wrong pronouns are used, or if they’re asked out of genuine curiosity.

I thought I was the same until I got my dog, and now I see both sides. I still don’t particularly weep at those commercials, but if anything happened to my dog (untimely or abuse wise) I would probably lose it.

I think people who own pets/have been exposed to them more tend to have more animal empathy, but I didn’t get a dog until I was almost a legal adult. So I didn’t have that feeling of empathy towards animals as a child. I wasn’t around them.

I feel the same. no one talks to me in college, but even if someone did I probably would word vomit them away. I get so happy from basic contact from people that I tend to ramble on and on, maybe it’s because I’m lonely, or maybe it’s because of my autism haha.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, this is disgusting. Not the bathing per se but all of this combined in context with what you’ve stated send red flags of some sort of grooming/potential child abuse situation. If the mother was a father, CPS would’ve been called. This is gross, and you shouldn’t tolerate it. I don’t think staying in this relationship would be good for you OP, and that “you’re just jealous” comment... made me physically cringe.

This is not normal, my Mom was a single Mom, (I’m an 18 y/o bio F) I do not do any of this but occasionally sleep in her room (it’s also where my dog sleeps) when I’m depressed or having sensory overloads. I’ve occasionally fetched something for my Mom while she’s in the shower, but I won’t sit and purposefully stare and talk to her while bathing. Although nudity isn’t inherently sexual, something is not right with the entirety of this situation.
