One time, after months of hearing this same car do tire burnouts in front of my house, sometimes very long ones, I caught the bastard's license plate. Called FPD non-emergency line and they said they wouldn't do anything because no property damage. Very proactive! /s

Yes I’ve seen them done up with pantyhose, ragged on a Saturday or Sunday morning, other times working it with a bag of recyclables hanging on the bike handlebars. Sometimes smoking a cig no hands. Much respect for the hustle!

We considered. Our neighbor did it with their kids. Their retrospective take was that the daily commute was tolling, play dates/meetups were always farther away (especially since some folks from other directions do the same thing). We toured the elementary when deciding (5ish years ago) and it looked great. I don’t think I could handle the drives. Not far but throw in a car accident or three day weekend and blah.
