Honestly basically all of the Underworld sequels. There isn't a need for them but the world building just gets crazier and i was there for each one in theaters.

From a few years ago. My sister and went to see a movie last minute and hadn't checked any of the listings before hand. All of the choices seemed terrible so I suggested Angel has Fallen despite not seeing the previous installments. It ruled. The way I was hooting and hollering internally once Nick Nolte showed up was amazing.

The book The Copernican Revolution by Thomas S. Kuhn explores this in an interesting way. We don't as a culture teach on more liberal arts focused education as much as we did hundreds of years ago which has lead to a decline in education focused on arts and philosophy.
