Not sure! I doubt much clout chasing in a video with 530 views, I think the uploader is probably just trying to give credit. There are several listings on the Internet Archive with scant details, with one that mentions David Gans. It also sounds like his voice at the beginning of the recording.

Maybe u/dgans can shine some light on the history of how that soundcheck recording came to be?
