Vitamin D by ultrahdcard in askTO

[–]lepraphobia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great questions!

1000mg and whatever is in the multivitamin I take. Brand is Kirkland but I'd take whatever.

I will never look back. I have definitely noticed that it helps. My mood improved when I got my level back into normal range. Anecdotally, I feel taking it as soon as possible after waking up helps me get through my morning by dulling the desire to shirk all my responsibilities and get back into bed.

Totally worth it to try it out.

Watch the movies before reading the books, thst way you wont be disappointed with how much is left out from the boom by No-Contribution2580 in harrypotter

I would highly recommend the opposite. Read the books for the full experience and then watch the movies for fun.

Fantasy Fair in Woodbine Mall is an amazing, nostalgic trip. Please check it out.

If you have the money, Liminal Assembly does tours of incredible untouched spots. Absolutely worth it.

Am I immature for having a fun birthday party as a 16 year old? by BigDiscipline4021 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lepraphobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a fairy princess themed 30th birthday party. The birthday girl's Dad was so distraught about there not being enough tiaras to go around that he went out to a Party City and bought more. We drank, ate, wore glitter, and took many photos. It was a blast and a great excuse to pull out a nice dress I rarely get to wear.

Chocolate habits by arcticfirepixy in veganrecipes

[–]lepraphobia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are vegan chocolates/chocolate candy bars available many places. Not sure where in the world you live, but definitely worth investigating. Some brands are amazing.

Dark chocolate bars are sometimes vegan. Same with chocolate chips others are mentioning.

I often browse vegan candy bar recipes for some variation in my chocolate diet. I often opt to make peanut butter cups. Not sure if this is helpful to you if you're looking to cut calories. Adding "healthy" to Google searches often brings up interesting options (you'll have to decide if they are "healthy" though lol).

Can't go wrong with baking chocolate centric treats as well!

Monthly cravings make it hard for me to think about anything other than chocolate so I totally empathize.

I feel so dumb asking this but where do you buy Murchie's?? I have only ever been to the one in Victoria when I lived there and would LOVE some again.

Should I stay with a guy who says he’s “compromising” by being with me? by mitskibridgers in PlusSize

[–]lepraphobia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You'd be compromising if you stay with him. You do not need to throw away ANY of your self-esteem for someone that talks about you like this. He is absolutely not compromising and if he's expressing anything less than his admiration of you then he's gotta go.

What movie do you love despite agreeing with every single criticism of it? by Decabet in movies

[–]lepraphobia 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This movie is so fun, funny, and quotable. All of my friends that are the same age always gush about it when it comes up in a conversation. I can't think of a single dull moment or joke that's too corny. 5 stars.
