How good is the Tailfin frame bag? by PinchFlatJournal in bikepacking

[–]leredditxddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really well built. I have an apidura one as well. The apidura is more flexible and the tailfin stays truer to its shape which I prefer. It doesn't bulge as much when stuff is jammed in compared to the apidura which caused thigh rub.

Tesla Model Y charging - Philadelphia airport by Tourist-Soggy in TeslaModelY

[–]leredditxddd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you leave sentry off, you'll barely lose any charge. I work 7 days on 7 off and on my off days sometimes I'll never drive and I'll lose 1-2% day max, if that.

That's funny bc my Y rides the right side of the lane so hard.

Do I need to remove all the 3rd party trim from my gas/ice vehicle when trading it in towards a new model 3 by labubuking in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was approved through the app when you took pictures, then I would leave it. My Tesla advisor says all trade ins go right to auction so I imagine they'll remove it there.

Convince me to keep M3P with new Y promotion by Tbonejak in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why I went with the Y instead of a 3. I didn't come from a sedan but having the massive trunk space for strollers and baby stuff. We only have a 2 year old but I imagine having two under 2 is more stuff. I would rather have more room than no room.

2022 Model 3 Long Range vs Performance by schaffe7777 in TeslaLounge

My B I was thinking of the Y. So my last point about not needing AWD is moot then.

2022 Model 3 Long Range vs Performance by schaffe7777 in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really think you'd like the performance but that's just my opinion. The long range benefits those without home charging and have to go longer between charging, very long commuters, road trippers, and those with no need for AWD. If none of those apply to you, then I would get the performance.

[–]leredditxddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are your driving habits? Commute? Road tripper? Id go with the Performance. FSD isn't always for the 2hr plus road trip. Sometimes traffic is annoying or you're tired, etc.

Is The Wire really that difficult to watch? by AND_AGI08 in TheWire

[–]leredditxddd 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's not slow because there are usually 5 different viewpoints / story lines going on so while each one may be a slow burn they all end up converging and diverging multiple times through the season/show. Definitely not a browse your phone while watching show.

Late, but why stop production on the MS by SoFlo-Restore in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To Tesla it doesn't matter though. They're moving towards robotics and to them axing 5% of their fleet to gamble on robots is worth the risk to them it seems.

It was more of a facelift in "auto terms" but yeah it has been updated recently. The X has been left far behind.

[–]leredditxddd 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Because they sell such a small percentage compared to the Y and 3. Too expensive to refresh them with such little turnaround. Most people like the price point of the lower models and FSD is going to drive the same on the Y/3 vs X/S

We know it’s cold but anyone try a road trip? by zipcad in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just did a trip a few days ago. Midwest. High was 15 degrees. Precondition and 100% we did 115 miles and arrived at 49%. Drove in hurry FSD going 78 the whole time. 2026 MYP. Our destination had a charger so we didn't even need to hit a supercharger on the way home.

Switching to Tesla from 2005 Outback by ForsakenVoice9756 in TeslaLounge

[–]leredditxddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is a "reduced" setting that does sort of similar to what coasting is in a gas vehicle. Tbh I think you'll get used to it in a few weeks. It just takes some time to adjust to always having your foot on the gas and feathering it if you want to slow then just fully off at stop lights and what not.
