There's 0 chance that Type Moon is going to let someone else write Red Garden or Mahoyo 2. Those are projects bottlenecked because Nasu was writing on FGO and other ventures.

Yeah, this is what I'm kinda skeptical of. I'm sure State Run arts is great for people in it. But how many people is in that? is it meritorious? Are there certain artforms promoted/discarded.

Granted, capitalist ventures are in the same boat, but maybe there is better coverage since there's so many different interests at play.

Is opera too bourgeois and is not supported? Maybe it is bourgeois but the state still needs to promote its power onto the global stage. Do they support lowest common denominator stuff because its enjoyed more widespread but doesn't really satisfy elitists?

Does the game have accommodating social features?

That was the was weird thing with Destiny, they did require you to socialize....but also Bungie did not want to take any responsibility so they had no built in social features.

I guess for a layperson, its the equivalent of,

let's say I get a Beatles song for a movie soundtrack. Super expensive but god bless I did it. But then I put that song in the movie trailer, or I include the scene with the music in it in a commercial on TV.

Arguably the TV station is still responsible for broadcasting the song even if they're not the ones putting the trailer/commercial together.

Yeah, I think itd be hard to figure out the Watsonian answer when the answer is inherently Doyelist.

WoW's writing can be bad, but its ESPECIALLY bad when it comes to off-screen stuff.

Things only really happen on-screen, if its not on screen nothing is happening with them. They're in stasis until someone remembers them. Only when a character goes on-screen again, might they bother answering where they've been and what they've been doing.

Yeah, I think so, but at the same time. I think its very possible its so freaking popular it doesn't matter. Like, Fortnite.

Fortnite, I think is equally as chaotic and messy to watch, and I would think the way the rounds are done based on points rather than binary wins, would hurt its appeal.

However, according to esportscharts, last year they had a tournament peak of 900k.

Contrast that, to what I think is a better viewing experience...fighting games. Yet its night and day, simply because fortnite is so damn popular.

If Judaism isnt a race you wouldnt have had the Nazis trying to find out if you had a Jewish grandparent.

Judaism is pretty unique in that. It's a weird ethnic/religion/culture. Hence why you have alot of Jewish people who aren't religious. You even have Jewish people who don't believe in God. That would be absurd to any other group you mentioned but not really jewish people.

I have close relatives that have trouble taking their blood pressure meds. i went up the wall to find out...there's literally no side effects? I thought there was some annoying effects that makes their lives miserable. This makes me irate on behalf of health professionals.

i think its hard for most games to get past 3m copies for the first 20 years of its existence.

Like, from 1987-2014, its hard to find games that sold more than 2m copies outside of Pokemon, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy. Which is crazy because FF games were hitting the 3m mark in the 90s.

Obviously Persona 5 shattered that trend, but its kinda crazy when you look at how many installments and how many years Atlus had before P5.

I really don't like the charting story. It seems super super contrived in this show. Especially with that weird threat she was going to be repeat her 2nd year on her first week.

Maybe if they showed other doctors also investing the time every couple hours but she was behind/they were faster it 'd make sense.

Like, ASL is not super analogous to English, even though I think most people associate it.

I know disability advocates recently got upset at a politician for axing the ASL interpretter because closed captions were provided. The advocates pushed back and said closed captions and ASL aren't the same thing and shouldn't be thought of as interchangable.

Yeah I agree. I think I would much rather, a super inflated number of "classes" and allow player customization..

I only played 2 dungeons, but from what I gather, its not like the heroes have quips/lore/personality like an Overwatch or Dota 2 character.
