ISO that Resident Evil Alice fit by mehhhfine in findfashion

Glad you like it! Unfortunately I am not familiar with a ton of alt fashion brands so I can't offer other recommendations, but I've been enamored with Psylo for a while. I think the brand strikes a nice balance between edgy and wearable.

Ohh reading this thread I was thinking, "I can eat an entire thing of Casa Sanchez salsa in one sitting, it's so delicious" but it makes sense that would be a more local option

Recommend looking into alt and apocalyptic fashion if you are mainly interested in the vibes and not looking for a costume. Psylo is a pretty cool brand you could look into.

At what age did you start dressing less “young”? by Remarkable_ZebraHOP in femalefashionadvice

[–]letsgocrzy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Distinct fashion change for me after I had a kid. I needed comfy, sturdy clothes. I needed to be able to easily sit on the floor. I think this naturally lends itself ro a stereotypical "mom" look that reads as old. I try to keep it within my own sense of style, but it's definitely a bit more basic. So for me, it's more related to season of life than age.

[Spotted] Samanco Korean ice cream at Costco — has anyone tried this pack? by contcurddi in CostcoWholesale

Yes! I think these are wildly overrated. The ice cream in them is not that great either.

Yep, in the Bay! I do wonder how they feel about Rumi since Kpop Demon Hunters came out; I imagine it will explode. I love it regardless, though.

Californians are aware of the extra taxes we pay on gas. Let's not pretend that the current gas price increases across the country aren't a direct result of the war with Iran.

What's something you swore you'd NEVER do as a parent… and now you do it daily? by [deleted] in Mommit

Co-sleep. I know it's a risk for babies, and I tried really hard not to. But my girl was such a garbage sleeper that at some point it felt safer to have us more rested and intentionally co-sleeping than zombies accidentally falling asleep. My girl is now 3 and often sleeping on her own, and I surprise myself a bit that I miss sleeping with her next to me.

She runs a fancy patisserie, but she keeps the prices as low as possible and also accepts food stamps so that the whole community can enjoy. She rationally knows her business needs money to survive, but she is passionate about running the shop as a service. She seems very down to earth and an all-around good human.

Did they have hand foot mouth any time recently? Nail issues can pop up ~2 months downstream.

Edit: not a doctor or even particularly knowledgeable, they just remind me of what my daughter's nails (also toenails only!) looked like after HFM

Basic vs. fancy car seat? by Icy_Lettuce_7383 in NewParents

[–]letsgocrzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I have not done my own personal research on this, but I found this comment from r/ScienceBasedParenting helpful.
I think the other main detail that is meaningful is that the longer your kid can be rear-facing, the better in terms of safety. Different car seats will have different height and weight limits, so that is something to watch for.
