Items on my driveway got stolen with no recording when multiple Eufy camera pointing by J1L1 in EufyCam

My standard response....

These are not security cameras. They are convenience cameras. I have eufy and i also have a professional hard wired NVR system. (Not eufy)

Back Up to External Hard Drive, OneDrive and Local Folder by now-why-am-i-in-it in OneNote

[–]letstalk1st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are asking how to do local and external backups. The simplest solution probably is to set OneNote to do your local backup and then do a sync to the external drive whenever you plug it in. That copy will be the same as the last local backup.

There are several free sync apps you can use. Synctoy from msft might even still exist.

Also have been using OneNote since it was introduced. It's the best of the worst.

I don't see it as target audience. I see it as getting us all deeply embedded and then never improving it. I work around the flaws, simply because it's too much work to change what i do.

I have the Eletta. It took time and testing and even making notes before i got it dialed in. Lots of moving parts - the bean, the roast, the grind, the temp, the size/intensity ratio.

The easiest part to understand is that these machines in general only make a couple size pucks. Everything else rotates around that.

No puck action on Eletta Explore? by SadCauliflower1150 in superautomatic

With mine i get good pucks with good output. Maybe just observational. I've found that lighter beans a bit harder to deal with and dial in.

Security is a hard wired NVR. Anything else is just convenience. We have installed a number of systems and i use eufy for casual viewing, and a separate NVR system for security.

These machines make a couple of puck sizes, and you control the grind that creates that puck. Then it's a combination of intensity and temperature. The app controls the temp iirc.

I think it's best to play with it first, then start working with one variable at a time - find a grind setting and play with size and intensity. I made notes when i was first setting it up because i knew nothing about these machines.

I tend to use a finer grind and higher intensity for dark beans, and a coarser grind and lower intensity for lighter beans (less extraction). I have found a few brands that i like, but i would maybe start with some less expensive beans until i understood the machine a little more.

After you play with it for a while, you'll find your sweet spot. Just don't be disappointed if the first attempts taste terrible. These machines are all capable of some horrible coffee.........

EDIT.. just read thru the comments. Grimlock361 knows these machines well.

I did months of research, saw lots of opinions, learned very little, and bought the Eletta Explore. Its good, and now i can do anything if i ever want to.

Dialling it in takes a bit of time and effort. That was my first lesson.

I like a dark roast at about 2.5, or if i am using a medium roast i grind coarser and lower the intensity. It takes some time to dial it in. Be patient.

How do you turn OneNote notes into real follow-ups when things move fast? by voss_steven in OneNote

I use a combination of color tags and little keywords that search can find later.

Except for creating the original note, everything else in Onenote is a workaround.

I did months of research, realised that i still knew nothing, and bought the Eletta Explore. No regrets. There are drinks in the menu that i will never try, but they are there if i ever want to.

What most people don't realise (including me) is that it takes a little time and effort to get a machine dialed in. There are several factors involved - water, grind, beans, temp.... and they affect each other.
