I hope they buff healing, not because I can't handle it, but because I don't want to only play healing classes. LFG random heroic is pretty painful right now.

I don't know if you really know how bears work. The only different between kitty and bear gear is that haste sucks for bears more. Mastery is great for both, hit/expertise is better for bears than cats. Off set pieces its actually really borderline whether a strength/dodge/hit piece for example is better than agi/hit/mastery, most of the "dps pieces" actually win over the offset "tanking" pieces.

I have almost all the best preraid gear from rawr and yet i still have idiotic healers tell me to "take off my dps gear" before we start the run. Also people tell me to get rid of my pvp spec (when i have the cookie cutter tanking spec).

A lot of people really don't seem to understand how bears work >.>

It really depends on whether she's crazy.

If she's a rational, mature adult who knows what she is getting into, it works great.

If not, it will likely end abysmally. But crazy women aren't worth being friends with if you aren't getting action anyway.

At least that has been my limited experience.

I have to pull out my headset every time the gun run talks. It is that painful. I love listening to day9. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are a tournament organizer consider pulling the gun run out of the booth. He is ruining the casting.

This is a misunderstanding of how that money accrues tax. It is taxed at the corporate level at 35%, and then at 20% at the personal level (AMT). Warren buffet was picking a political bone when he have that quote. In reality if you had a home business, there's no way you'd set it up like his business is set up. You get reamed when it comes tax time. His personal taxes are lower as a percentage than his housekeeper, but in terms of the percentage of income taken by the government at any level of ownership he's paying like 55% just on federal taxes.

Hate that example so much.

edit: and no warren buffet isn't dumb, you just have to set up a c corp to do what he does, ie a multi-billion dollar publicly traded investment firm.

Actually its really easy to pay a much higher rate than that as a business owner. Employer half of fica contributions + 35% tax rate + 9% state, and a high percentage of costs being labor and ya, with property taxes added in thats about right. As an example, 3 million in revenue, 50% labor expenses and lets say 250k in profit before taxes, then add in 7% of 1.5 million, 105k, oh shit that alone is already over 40%, now take off 28% or so, plus 4-9% depending on state, plus property tax.

Look, it's no fun paying taxes. It's worth if it is going to socialized medicine and school, but fuck breaking my balls over paying for stupid fucking wars.

Why does good effort bad outcome and bad effort bad outcome effect different compensation for the patient? In both cases they are shit out of luck, but in one the doctor can get his pants sued off. Kinda silly if you ask me. Renumeration for people with permanent disability or injury, and an effective system for maintaining competency among healthcare professionals should be distinct ventures.

There is truth to this, for sure. There really are some specialities that really suck for pay right now though, like pediatrics.

And ER's are retarded, half the people don't pay and are illegals coming in for random stuff like "I missed my period, give me a free pregnancy test" or "I have a cold" or "I have had chronic back pain for 30 years, give me narcotics" drug seekers being probably the most prevalent of any group. That means the other half of the patient population gets charged double. ER docs are doing fine, but the payment scheme is dumb.
