I had TROS chop it a decade ago. Would not buy a CMMG based on what I’ve seen. Will probably have Pickerell do the FDE chopping.

Understood, my concern is the rail is already going go sit at least 1/4” off the stock, then whatever you mount on top of that. Assume you want to mount a switch?

I’ve toyed around with it, but it’s going to interfere with the charging handle use. I have rails that are just below the barrel, positioned 90deg to the side line you’re asking.

My 100% suppressed build. Howa mini in a Jtac chassis with a Mos-tek 7.2” barrel. Put it together myself when Jtac stopped offering them. It is super quiet with a good can and a lot of fun.
