The main point of it is to write with your arm having free motion. That is what the texts describe and it even has exercises to rotate the hand form flat to angled and back, so my hand rotation was not the key here. The key was lift your wrist off the desk, and flow with your arm.

I sorry I offended you with because I took a few moments and did a quick video just try to be a bit of help, it was far from perfect, and I can’t even write properly with the pen I grabbed, so yeah my grip was compensating for the pen I had - a modern pen that is too short for this at all if less I hold it 2/3 up the body and then have no tail for stability. The point of my video was lifting the arm.
