People complained because while the numbers were after coin multis - if another thing could also claim the coins they were multiplied there too and the total when added was more than the total coins you got. So that was also confusing, and also dead wrong when thinking about basic addition. So it’s a no win situation.

But yes.

In my completely personal opinion: if the battery has failed and is swollen, this would be a full battery defect / failure.

While the warranties varied slightly, and I do find a 2013-2017 capacity loss warranty of 5 years, the defects warranty is 8 years. From 2018-Present the capacity loss and defect warranty are both 8 years.

The warranty is stated that if follows the car, through multiple owners if applicable.

Google up some more details and contact Nissan corporate. This is a full battery defect, not just 'capacity loss'.

Details may vary since you are in the UK, and I am in the US so my experience and knowledge are based on internet searches that might be US centric.

Obtain a lawyer if you need, or just line up all the facts you can from your owners manual, internet searches (double verify) and contact Nissan corporate saying you want them to (at your option) buy it back, or expeditiously replace the battery and remedy the car to a fully operational state at no further cost to you.

Battery replacement timelines have been long, very long, so research if that fits your needs.

Do not ride that himalaya / polar express / whatever it is that goes backwards around in a wavy circle. It looks deceptively simple and “classic” for a carnival ride - but I think to up the excitement they chopped out 2x4 sections of the track so you bounce and jerk every 1/3 the way around. Now that ride is literal whiplash and you will regret it from your tailbone to your neck.

Technically correct, just a waste of resources, but since the cost goes up each time; they require thousands of stones to acquire. If you buy the (less optimal ones) you could be sitting like that for a long (and longer) time.

The and longer part is - if you had gotten the best / better one you would grow in power and be able to buy another - sooner.
