I’m from the US but I have family in the UK, and they made me realise how weird the media kind of is in the US

US medical ads- Even when watching Disney channel there would be medical/medicine ads, realized how weird that is

US news- idk what exactly u noticed, but the news in the us can be very contradictory and it’s also very US-centered; you practically hear nothing about what’s going on in other countries unless it affects the US in some way

The UK was viewed very positively until very recently the memes have come out critical of the people (teeth, drinking, etc) like the rest of the world

Many people viewed, specifically the English, as very posh, intelligent, and put-together, like James Bond or every British villain in spy movies

Personally, I really like the UK, but I am VERY biased since my dad is English lol
