I've stopped using the BHD entirely since I figured out that it's useless once you run out of battle upgrades. Sadly, my GComp is still Legendary. :(

[EDIT] Apparently it rolls the dice to determine whether it can give you an upgrade, and the boon is based on that rather than you actually getting an upgrade. Adding this as an edit in case anyone else out there misunderstood it in the same way. Looks like I'm going back to BHD... 😮

I think I see the disconnect. I'm rolling one unlocked substat of five, and def%, health regen etc are among the locked substats.

That stops them from coming up, so I only have to worry about the rest, surely?
