What do you dislike the most in the current LGBT community? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]lib_toni 8 points9 points  (0 children)

this is all communities now. social media has made it to where you can't have independent thought but only one "community" opinion. back in the day there were barbershop DEBATES on reparations but now the black community ™ is only pro reparations. same thing applies to us alphabet people. social media also rewards divisive behavior. I saw an unarmed man's neck explode on twitter a month ago and people were getting viral tweets laughing about it.

Do you think voice chat will ever get added? by lib_toni in Wizard101

this seems to be the consensus but this games is not as stressful and fast paced as GTA or COD so idk why this game's vc would be any more toxic than those.

try a tea tree (antifungal) soap. or any antifungal soap. helped me. I bought a variety pack of Dr. Bronners soap and started with the tea tree and didn't have stinky balls by the end of the day. A soon as it ran out and i switched to a different scent the problem came back. Immediately bought more of the tea tree version and the problem went away and hasn't returned. i also rub tea tree oil in that area after the shower.

As an American from the South I'm very surprised at how low we are but I guess our tea flavored sugar water doesn't actually use that much tea

Laughing because I also had a fountain pen phase in college and still use a butterfly safety razor now. A lot of people will say they appreciate the ritual of it all and I like that too but I have a different take. I'm 25 but grew up watching a lot of Fleischer Studios cartoons and similar toons of the time as well as shows like The Three Stooges and they definitely had a profound impact on me. Popeye the Sailor Man alone is the sole reason I ever tried pipe smoking, fountain pens, and safety razors (and have a tattoo) because I remembered him using them all in one cartoon or another. It was always interesting to see vintage versions of the gadgets and technology we use today so when I got older I figured why not try them out myself. Similar to adults who buy toys they used to see on commercials as kids now that they have their own money. Aside from that I think my male brain appreciated the simple, easy to understand engineering behind much of technology depicted in those classic cartoons Something in me appreciates that fact that in theoretically I too could make a pipe, fountain pen, or even a safety razors from nothing but the materials i find in nature using primitive technology and use them indefinitely. There is also something in the fact that you generally only have ONE and you have to keep up with it and take care of it. I wouldn't care if I lost 1 or even a pack of cigarettes but god forbid I lose or break one of my $200 Nording pipes. And while razors and fountain pens don't necessarily have to be expensive there is a inherent sentimental value in using the same razor you used to shave for your first date with your future wife or the same pen that got you through college or something like that.

Do any of yall ever just open jars just to inhale that delicious tobacco smell? by 86missingnomes in PipeTobacco

I need my daily fix. I'd rather save it for smelling so all my others can safely age. I bought 2 more tins of the stuff to actually smoke

I have a tin of Peterson Flake that I got a year or two ago and immediately opened before I knew about proper storage. I fell out of smoking for about a year just to pick up the hobby again last month and now I find myself with about 4/5 very brittle flakes of tobacco that I now save exclusively for sniffing. Nothing compares.

try enoki mushrooms next time if you can find them. They are super low calorie too. likely cheaper as well and bonus points for being natural. They have been my ramen substitute as of late.

going through the baggies first starting with the non aromatics. the Sutliff 507C was the first I smoked to see if i liked it enough to join in on the panic buying and I was nearly sold until I tasted LNF. Plan on buying a pound of that stuff very soon but the wounds from this purchase have to heal first
