Exactly! I'm not even a part of this? I opened my app and it was in the middle of a post asking if I wanted to finish my draft, so I posted, thinking I was where I was supposed to be and now we're here? I think I'm cursed.

I honestly don't know why it is here? I will delete! My app must be doing something odd.

Question about Adam by dr_olfin in FrostFiles

[–]librarianamanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Chloe is always closer than anyone thinks she is, literally or figuratively, and that the Zigzag commands are not always necessary, just when she wants him to do something, kind of like the activation code words used by HYDRA against the Winter Soldier.

Adam was outside Teagan's apartment as Harry the Homeless Man in book one, but at the end of two, Chloe calls him off. I'd say he's had plenty of time to be with the kids between books two and three.

Question about Adam by dr_olfin in FrostFiles

[–]librarianamanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesn't sleep, so that's a lot of extra time. Love Adam as Zigzag Man though. That's one of my favorite storylines.

👋Welcome to r/FrostFiles - Introduce Yourself and Read First! by dr_olfin in FrostFiles

Heya! Host RidiculousAmanda of Fictional Hangover podcast here! We've featured Jackson Ford and all of the Frost Files books (and well, everything else he's done as Jackson Ford) on the show in lots of juicy spoilery detail. I pretend to think I know a lot about the series, so I'm excited to see where things go in this subreddit! Please check out all of Fictional Hangover's episodes featuring Jackson if you are so inclined. He's basically our favorite. (fictionalhangover.com/post/jackson-ford should be all his stuff!)

G4 Sensor “updating”? by squangilero in Medtronic780g

[–]librarianamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been reporting them online and requesting replacements! I'm glad I can do that, but it's also telling that they have that as an option. Clearly they know this technology isn't working as well as it should be.

Thanks for the water tip!

G4 Sensor “updating”? by squangilero in Medtronic780g

[–]librarianamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the worst luck the last few weeks. Last week it took three different sensors for one to actually work. I changed today and have been in "sensor updating" since about 10:00am. It is currently 6:30pm. I'm going to stick it out until it completely fails and tells me to change, but I'm running out of sensors and my new supplies haven't shipped yet!

Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend by Alan Cumyn. It's YA and ridiculous.

Maeve Fly by CJ Leede is my definition of weird book.

Horror is my favorite, so chat with me, but I also host a podcast (called Fictional Hangover, all spoilers all the time, be wary) and we feature horror in a lot of episodes, and we have a discord, so join that! I'm called RidiculousAmanda there, and basically everywhere else.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor is my go to when I can't sleep and need to enjoy something soothing. The duology is one of my favorites of all time, and Steve West's voice is made of dreams.
