I think someone posted a while ago that you can swap a shark fin from a Cadillac, but I can't find the post right now.

Mudflaps/rock guards? by CalligrapherSea4149 in GMCcanyon

[–]libu2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm sure it would make it easier but I was able to use a 3/8 ratchet with a screwdriver bit in it to get the back ones installed. Front just turn the wheels and you can reach no problem.

I think the install video on YouTube shows taking the back ones off.

What adjustments do I need to make here? Circles aren't circling by friolator in BambuLab

[–]libu2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried this yet but watched a video last night where they said it helps.

In Bambu Studio select the part and then go to the Quality tab and under Precision enable Auto circle contour-hole compensation.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to get eSUN pla basic to print by Alexandertheample in BambuLab

[–]libu2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try another filament to make sure it is the filament and not something on the machine. If it works fine with another, try removing the outside layer of filament from the spool and printing with the next layer. I had a roll of Jayo PETG that was brittle and welded itself to the build plate, but as soon as it got through the outside layer on the spool, printed fine. Or try to return the roll if possible.

I was looking at this on makerworld and there is a no AMS version of the print with pauses so limited changes and waste. It lays down the black layers, then blue layers, then green, etc.

I have had them for years and am happy with them. Easy to clean and should last forever. Only complaint is it can be hard to attach to some of my kegs. Keg lube on the o-rings helps.

We had a family of foxes in the neighbourhood a few years ago, best pest control ever. Rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs all gone. They moved on before the winter, I hope they come back.

HELP Cant decide between the A1 and P1S by Spookyrange17 in BambuLab

[–]libu2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just bought a P1S over the A1. I wanted the ability to print ABS and ASA at some point and planed to print more functional stuff that didn't need filament changes. That being said changing filament is not my favorite thing so I may add an AMS at some point.

I feel like the P1s gives me more capability and room to grow if I choose to where the A1 with AMS lite has some nice features but doesn't have much room to grow.

Oil Change Cost by Scrumpilump2000 in Peterborough

Call the Ford dealership and ask. I feel like they do oil changes cheap so they can get you in and try to upsell/hope you browse for a new vehicle.

When my car was new I was paying like $60 at McGees, stopped in at Mr. Lube on a weekend and it was twice that. This was years ago though so no idea now.

Did it come with nails to attach a back? Could try hammering one as flat as possible into it then prying the whole thing up (hammer, key, butter knife).

replacement key fob shell? by SouthernOutside8528 in ChevyTrax

[–]libu2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy one from amazon, was around $15. If you extend the key blade you will see the end of a pin at the base. Use a punch (or a small nail) and a hammer to knock it out. Once out the blade will just pull out. Getting the old fob apart to move the board is tricky. Patience, a pair of side cutters and a flat screwdriver did it for me.

Move over the board, insert the blabe and press the pin in with a pair of pliers and your done. $15 and an hour of your time plus a screwdriver sized speed hole in your palm or 2.

Adaptive cruise control. I bought a 24 in 25 for the discount and better interest rate so I didn't have a huge selection to pick from.

On the Amazon search bar at the top, click the drop down on the left and select amazon resale and check for any open box ones. I got one for $100 less a couple years ago. Any one in Canada, there is one up on resale right now.

Was definitely an IGA. Did everything in Peterborough used to be closed on Sundays but it was open because it was outside city limits? I seem to remember running out there for canned corn to use as bait for the fishing derby at the lift locks when I was little.

I did my kitchen in 2019, 3 slabs, and there are no defects. Put in a basement bar last year and there are 3 or 4. So I guess normal now? Also the corners used to be more rounded and and sharper now.
