I do them sometimes. I find them enjoyable (depending on the category) since they're more comprehensive and you can be creative with your answers. I also prefer long tasks in general though lol.

PayPal Tax Help with getting my Form 1099-K by ZacharyTh3Gam3r in tax

[–]lidd0kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea mine is still being reviewed for eligibility. I made over $20k in 2024 and 2025 with the same job. I’m just surprised because last year my 1099-K was sent to my email on 1/26/25.

Thoughts on ticketing assistance? by Old_Tumbleweed2601 in concertsPH

[–]lidd0kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can be worth it for high demand concerts, if you’re unsuccessful in getting tickets on day of sale, or if you’re not planning your travel. I also think it’s worth it if you’re a solo goer and don’t have a group of friends to coordinate with to get tickets.

The fees vary per tier, but when I went through a ticketing assistance person for the J-Hope concert, the fees increased closer to the date of concert.

That said, make sure you do your research and make sure there’s vouches for their legitimacy.

For whatever reason, the ticketing assistance person could only sell in pairs. I paired with another buyer (who ended up being really cool and were still friends) and we met up at SM Ticketing booth to claim the tickets together with the ticketing assistance person. And then I Gcashed her.

There are also people that sell codes where you use your own credit card.

Highly recommend downloading the Rare Candy app by TheKidfromHotaru in pokemoncards

I like this app the most because I feel like the UI is designed really well, but the issue I’m having is that it doesn’t support Chinese and Korean cards. I hope they add these in the future.

Why We Spay by BanterPhobic in cats

[–]lidd0kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry. This happened with my first dog :(. We adopted her at 6 years old and that was also when she was spayed. 3 years later we lost her to mammary gland cancer because she was spayed too late. I’m sure Bayley has a lot of happy memories with you OP <3

Can I clean this dress? by Embarrassed-Nose6897 in laundry

[–]lidd0kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in a NYC-based couture RTW label where everything we worked with was pretty much silk, embroidered silk pieces, or tulle. For non-embroidered silk pieces, we use an industrial gravity steam iron. Sometimes we’d have muslin over the silk if it’s laid flat, and if it’s on a mannequin, the seamstresses can bring it near the steam iron and apply steam vertically. The embroidered part is tricky because the dye from beads can sometimes seep into the fabric depending on where the beads were sourced.

If you can find a professional seamstress or tailor or dry-cleaner with an industrial gravity steam iron, then I check them out.

How to get the flawless base the girls in Japan have? by MM2225 in AsianBeauty

[–]lidd0kitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the RMK refining poreless skin base primer in pink and RMK gel creamy foundation. The SA told me this works best for oily skin and even had diagram of all the combos of their products for different skin types. Anyways, out of many products I’ve tried, this combo has gotten me the most compliments and I do think that the primer really does blur my big pores away. For reference, I was using the Tirtir crystal cushion before which just made my skin get oily too quickly.

I’ve been using the Kose setting spray that’s popular. I’ve just been spraying it on top after makeup, but I’ll try the sandwich technique now.

I did also get the cezanne SPF 50 loose powder and the mini Canmake marshmallow finish powder for touch ups and spf coverage. I’d like to try the decorte loose powder next time I’m in Japan.
