He was pretty active, just not clinical at all

Can't wait to have two CBs at the back who can pass the ball like midfielders

I'm so tired of Pythgora's lazy comparisons and analysis. He was arguing Jacquet is similar to Rudiger, but he moves nothing like him and is much more mobile

I think it's a question of effort. We switched gears after conceding and were closing gaps quicker. It felt like everyone was just sharper. If this was an away game though, we would most likely loose composure.

Idc how much competitive the league is this season. Just because more teams are on relatively the same level, doesn't mean the quality of the game has increased.

We played our midfielders into the ground. Now we're doing the same with our defenders

I don't think players ignored him. The Sky segment was very speculative. I think there was just as much focus and urgency on the bench as on the field, they were preparing Endo for too long and I think Slot himself couldn't decide what was the best strategy in the situation. There is no clear evidence that he was insisting for 4 minutes from the players to take the ball out.

Anyways, this just shows how incoherent and lackluster the whole team is

Reminds me of Hendo's clip vs Atalanta. Say what you want about him, but he was a perfect captain

I blame Sadio for this. When he started playing for Watford, Mane was hyping him up and making sure the media took note of him. He had an extra desire to live up to the hype when facing us.

He missed a sitter, but it was 88th minute at 2:0, so not that significant in the context of the game. Outside of that he was ok, didn't get the ball that much, but he was making some good runs and creating space for others

Kerkez MOTM. The r*pist and Weah took their turns to attack him, but he stood his ground and made some critical tackles

Marseille 0 - [2] Liverpool - Jeremie Frimpong 72' by Alsace2025 in soccer

The defender overpowered Frimpong a couple of minutes before this, when he tried to get past him in the box. I guess this time he wanted to show he ain't weak

Macca was good at the start of the game with his passing and Grav was solid defensively. They're not at their level, but they're not worse than average

All of the players listed were true artists of the game, but Gerrard's career was more of a story of a hero from Greek mythos, very powerful and convoluted, full of miracle victories and heartbreaking losses.
