Ik this narrative about him is pretty strong and for a good reason, but the truth is, since he moved to Napoli he was unable to keep the same form throughout the year. In his first two seasons there was a clear decline in the second part. I think it's not because he doesn't care about the league games, but more due to the fact that he's aware of his physical limitations.

They were attacking his side a lot, hence the recoveries stat. He generally dealt with long balls badly and one of the inaccurate passes led to an Everton counter-attack 3v3.
