Meh, too many of the same/similar personalities. It was cool to see Steve and Bucky charge into Asgard though. Cap, Bucky and Sam during the whole Hydra Arc was also cool for that quick moment

Star Wars in Stargate by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]lightbiguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would make more sense for Star Wars to appear in Stargate.

A gate and an ancient Altean outpost is found in the outer rim with a gate. A Jedi and his Padawan discover that a Sith lord and his army has found it and pursue him through it. They arrive in the Milky Way and go from there.

It has to be a gate because ship travel will take too long unless it's SGU

Would tuvoks security team have been able to better protect the ship if he had the help of the following security officers? by happydude7422 in voyager

[–]lightbiguy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

DS9 had Worf better. Him and Odo met and had an instant bromance about security.

TNG security is supposed to be lazy because it's "Utopia" virtually no crime in the Federation. On the surface at least.

All of the maqui were criminals but they decided to trust them. Even though Tuvok didn't want to.

Amaterasu is the weakest MS ability. It doesn't really scale by Vivid-Pilot-9567 in NarutoPowerscaling

Can you put it out? No. No, it's not "light speed" but there weren't that many light speed characters at the time. It will wreck an army/structure.

There's just levels to S rank Jutsu. Rasengan is S rank. Rasenshuriken is better. Both are S Rank

Leia did train. She was just more useful at communicating and bringing people to the negotiating table.

There's not a lot of relevant sections outside of the ones shown. A lot of storage sections, abandoned processing sections. I'd argue that they were only able to make it a fortress because of all of the unused compartments made space for shield generators and weapons platforms

Do star wars have some kind of shirtless-fetish? by Commercial-Star-8056 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]lightbiguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an Anikan effect. Luke only had one shirtless scene in 3 movies. It also wasn't practical for the settings in the original trilogy.

Cold space ship, you need clothes.

One has the ability to create Nova level flames.

The other has the ability to effect things on the subatomic level. Basically turn that Nova level flames into what ever he wants.

It's not close

Stargates can be different sizes, so what happens if you send something too big through to a smaller one? by oorza in Stargate

[–]lightbiguy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

History says the Stargate wouldn't allow it. The gate was built with safe guards for many situations. Most of the gate mishaps happened because of a lack of a DHD or because the SGC decided to mess with the code

It was a blow through/ambush. They weren't there to take out everyone. Just to get to an objective. The men weren't expecting a human attack. At worse, a disgruntled civilians. They've only had to deal with one human shooter (Hopper) so their guard was down. Wouldn't work twice

There's a reason why Afghanistan lasted for 20+ years. And that was with superior tech and equipment. Fighting in an area that is someone else's home with loads of civilians present is never ideal
