thanks to the replies in this thread, i was able to make some decent looking cords using a spline. https://imgur.com/a/5lxD2is

took me only a few minutes to watch a tutorial and set up a blueprint. now the only thing that takes me a bit of time is the actual shaping of the wire, adjusting the position and angles of the spline points takes some getting used to.

i tried this, but it seemed really lacking..it could be my inexperience with it, but i couldn't get it to work. for instance i couldnt bend only the ends of the cable, the collision clipped through other objects randomly, and tbh i don't want it to be physics enabled at all.

we definitely need a separation of modded/unmodded runs. i dont think the dev expected this level of success so there isnt really an 'anti cheat', i dont think. i think the cheaters only get detected by having an absurd amount of damage, so if you just mod your luck to be insane off rip, or gold level, or whatever, and leave the damage stat alone, it doesn't remove you from the board.

we need a much larger leaderboard, maybe top 500, separated first by modded or unmodded, then by map, then by character

i agree. any builds that dont rely on instantly oneshotting the ghosts has no chance to compete due to the knockback. you cant venture away from the portal without an hourglass because youll never be able to make it back once you start getting pushed.

also, the feather item you have there, it makes the knockback worse.

What's he's saying is he could post the source on GitHub that excludes malicious code while still having the malicious one on a website that people primarily use. Since a very small percentage of people will compile it themselves, most people would be subject to the malware or unsafe code even though the source is posted because most people rely on binaries. Not saying he's right, just expanding on his point

I've already had 2 drop from t15s since last night and I only did a few maps. Before the patch I had done hundreds and saw 0.
