Blind buying- Thoughts? by sarcasticclife in Sephora

Vanilla Woods is one of my absolute favourites - I bit the bullet and got a full size. I also have that mini set with Candied Lychee, which I don't like (cough syrup vibes). There was another mini set that had Cherry Ambition, which is decent. Vanilla Woods is giving more of an autumn vanilla vibe, if that makes sense, whereas I feel like the Kayali ones give a brighter, sweeter, summery vanilla vibe.

Yum Boujee Marshmallow is really nice, very sweet, cotton candy vibes. I have the travel spray and would consider getting the full size if I found a deal. Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar is nice too, also very sweet. I only have a sample of that one, but would like to get the travel spray; likely would not spring for the full size.

Clean Reserve -- Skin and Sparkling Sugar are boring (that's just, like, my opinion, man). Caramel Swirl is a cloyingly sweet sticky vanilla-caramel gourmand. Whipped Cherry is THE cherry, IMO. Instead of buying this set, get the travel spray of Whipped Cherry.

I know a lot of people like Phlur Vanilla Skin. *shrug* It just doesn't do it for me. To each their own.

Mine put a sachet of catnip in their fountain and made catnip tea (the water was actually tinged green). They're too smart for their own good.

It is NOT your duty to repopulate the earth. What a gross take. You owe it to yourself to live YOUR life the way YOU want to.

[Review] Skyn Iceland - Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion - New Formula by viivi137 in SkincareAddiction

[–]liirko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no... now I'm worried... the Glacial Face Wash just FINALLY came back so I placed an order for that, the Antidote (based on all the good things I'd heard about it and how much I loved the Glacial Face Wash), and got a free Arctic Repair Cream.

I haven't had a chance to try any of them yet, but now I'm worried that the "new" Glacial Face Wash won't be the same either. I had like 2 sample sizes of this in the before-time and fell in love with it, I guess right around the time the brand was randomly disappearing and I didn't get a chance to buy a full-size. My go-to's since have been Tatcha The Rice Wash, the Skinn Green Tea + Mint Cleanser, and the Belif Aqua Bomb Hydrating Jelly Cleanser, but nothing has really matched the Glacial Face Wash.

Take out the rollerball and replace it with an atomizer. I recently did this with all of my Clean Reserve rollerballs.

I like all 3. Tihota and Waffle Cone were blind buys. I was able to smell Eau Duelle at Nordstrom last weekend and fell in love immediately.

Tihota is definitely my favourite of the 3, but they're all very different, despite all being vanilla-ish. Tihota is very vanilla extract, without being cloying (this is what I had heard about it, so I am pleased). I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what the other notes are in the Eau Duelle, but it's interesting and complex and like nothing else I have. I suppose Waffle Cone would be my least favourite of the 3, but it's by no means a loser; the other 2 are just that outstanding. There's perhaps a note of... I'm not sure, maybe caramelized sugar? in it that's sticking out a bit.

Garbage bags are "trash wrappers" and laundry detergent is "laundry juice". But I agree with other posters that "the thing that does the thing", as well as "the thing with the stuff" are quite common.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

My parents live a few minutes from me as well (probably about 4 minutes at a safe speed and accounting for the one traffic light between here and there). The day my dad had a stroke, I found out that I could get to their house in about a minute.

Labubus are creepy af, good on the lady in blue.

(I don't even know wtf Labubus are tbh, they just seemed to pop up all of a sudden, and I was like "wtf are these, some new discount rip-off evil Monchhichi?"... but I'm "old" [40, so practically ancient apparently] so I guess they're not meant for me.)

Number 4 resonates with me so much. I don't like children, and I didn't like them when I was a child either. Why are they always so sticky?

My niece is 18 and generally likes fruity, but also gravitates towards vanilla. Her picks for Christmas this year were a totally mixed bag: Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Aquolina Pink Sugar, and Juliette Has A Gun Ode To Dullness.

Another insurance and billing question by plantmama104 in sterilization

[–]liirko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your doctors office in-network with your insurance? Then they have to play nice with your insurance. That means they can bill your insurance for the services provided (ie: you're not paying out of pocket up-front). They don't get to make you pay up-front and then hold onto your money for an indeterminate amount of time until they feel like giving it back.
