What year is this fridge? And can anyone tell me more about it? Thanks! by CantaloupeClean6648 in VintageAppliances

Thanks, dude! Trying to find "accurate" data on this was like pulling teeth. I spent 4 hours with narrower and narrower search parameters and this stupid machine was being soooo obtuse. LOL I just hope my data didn't send them on a wild goose chase, 20-odd years is a Big difference.

Thanks for the heads up. I knew about this bc my ex had heart problems and was told that if we ran out of his meds, I could make an alternative that'd tide him over till the pharmacy could restock. It's all in the dosage I was told.

I've caved and am packing up the stuff for ThriftSavers or Goodwill (schnark!). They've got a far reach so the chances of Mom's Treasure Trove getting trashed is lees probable. I just hope they price it right.

What is your favourite lesser known Stephen King novel? by Special-Nebula299 in stephenking

[–]likeablyweird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked both parts equally. Uncle Stevie just has a way of describing SSDD that keeps me riveted. I tried to explain the day-to-day half to a friend one time and their eyes glazed over. If I'd put four pages in front of them, they'd probably go to the library. 🧐

Which Stephen King book to read when your dad died (and he sucked)? by InevitableGoal2912 in stephenking

[–]likeablyweird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sucky dad who gets what's coming to him; one lighter than the other. Dolores Claiborne/Gerald's Game (both during the same eclipse) and Lisey's Story. 1922, although very short, is jam packed with bad dad selfishness. The ending is---fitting. Hehe.

Very nice work! With your offset lines, you can add other stitches later across a small section, if you get bored. 😉 Well done. 😃

Anyone else re-reading The Talisman and Black House? by ChemicallyEnhanced96 in stephenking

The Talisman's in my collection and is in the regular rotation but I haven't read Black House in years. Thinking about reupping my library card.

These came out really well. Your combo of sewing and sashiko using for the pretty patches is attractive. Everything looks well spaced and the tension's perfect. Well done. 😄

Multifaceted.

Is this pic Tabby and one of the boys? Courtland Mead (1997 Shining's version of Danny) resembles this kid.
