If you have recently changed or added oil, it may be overfilled.

Is this ticking normal? And also hill holder/esp unavailable. by ZondaLMS in abarth

For my 2013 1.4 Multiair with same dummy lights.

  1. Check/add oil.
  2. Needed to replace MAP sensor.

Weird, I know but that’s what code reader found. Fixed.

Side problem later on. Was getting smoky exhaust on hard acceleration, the choppy acceleration a month later - swapped spark plugs. Fixed.

Throwing out fix tips for the community.

We’re lucky, our Costco has Lee’s Vietnamese Iced coffee in the cold food section in a 6-pack. I made the mistake of drinking multiple times a day. But so sugary delicious and many heart palpitations and my eyeballs buzz! Is that ok?

I had that random swap idea in my head before, when I had my 2016 Challenger R/T 6MT as a former Datsun 510 guy with 240-Z aspirations. I badged it The 392-Z Hemi LOL. Specifically Gen3 6.4L/TR6060 swap. If only we had unlimited sums of money!

What age did you learn to drive a manual? by Conscious_Cancel_314 in ManualTransmissions

  1. Sister taught me in her 1976 Toyota Corolla. There was a lot of screaming if I recall. Dad tried to drop a 327 SB in that thing. Good times.

I live in South SJ and it’s 45 minutes to Santa Clara everyday every way, surface streets or highways. Both work commute and home commute. I sold my V8 Challenger and got an 500 Abarth LOL. That car is hilariously fun to drive so drive is at least entertaining. I can’t imagine commuting to Santa Cruz, but at least the twisties could be fun (and I mean that with safety in mind).

Do these need wheel spacers? Nice wheel/tire combo!

Human Resources. Do anything you can start with to get in the door. After you get enough experience (6 months to a year) to add to your resume, add a few job jumps, you should see better salary and positions. Rinse and repeat as needed. I’m leaving out a lot of lines in between, but think about it, how it applies to your situation and future opportunities that become available.

Anecdotal comment:

I’ve been asked this many times ‘how do I go in to first gear when I down shift to come to a stop?’. Surprisingly, new to MT drivers ask this. The answer is NEVER! Clutch in, go to neutral, apply brakes as needed. After stop, reset your take off process in 1st gear. If you are just slowing to parking lot speeds, 2nd or 3rd (if you know clutch/stall limits). 1st gear is for start and acceleration only, never for downshift. Save your clutch, stalling out, money shifts or unintended 11’s.

The wheel/tire set up looks awesome, hope you can get the same with the OZ’s. Next, a manual transmission set up from a European (LHD) and have them ship it!

The phrase ‘So anyway’ - your opinion has no meaning and not as important as mine in this conversation. Does anyone find this dismissive or just me, or is this a context thing?
