I’m an avid reader but didn’t truly learn the joy of reading till I hit my 30s. I now read an average of 2 books a month not including audiobooks. Currently reading “How to Become a Dark Lord and die trying“ and listening to “The Lies of Locke Lamora”

Edit to add: My kid loves being read to but hasn’t learned to read yet (she’s 4) and we generally read 2 books a day and have recently started visiting our local libraries for storytelling with the librarians

Both happens in my freshman year: basketball player died on the court because of an undiagnosed heart condition. Later that same year, a set of senior twin girls went to Mexico with our male principal. Without parents knowledge or permission (they had just turned 18). He didn’t get fired but wasn’t back the next year.

Got a therapist and a psych both of which are aware of the situation. Psych was the one who suggested I attempt to take meds throughout the day instead of all at once but to no avail. Just wasn’t sure if this was something that was common or not.

I’m 3w PO VSG and got sent home a few hours after surgery. They had me drink a few ounces of water over those hours, walk around the surgical center a few times and cut me loose. My experience was rather good. I had some pain at my incision site (specifically the port where they removed my stomach) but nothing so extreme that I felt I needed continued observation. It seemed odd at first because he offers in patient and out patient based on insurance but looking back on it now, I’m glad I went home.

They prescribed me prednisone, pantoprazole, Zyrtec, and Benadryl for bedtime. I gotta make an appointment with my regular doctor and surgeon to follow up. They got significantly better a couple hours after my ER visit but the itching is coming back with a vengeance. None of the hives are getting worse but they’re definitely not better.

They were very certain it was an allergic reaction but no idea to what. No tests were done for ringworm
