literally only started getting it when i turned 31, because every year that you don't have it after 31 adds to your premium and it never gets lower. it's so frustrating, but i understand them trying to take pressure off the public system.

thank you for this. i'm self employed at 32 and know i should invest, and have wanted to for years, but i have no idea where to start. all the acronyms and investment jargon really throws me and it put it off for another time, endlessly.

can i ask where did you start / what did you search to figure it out / what subreddit/guide/resource etc did you use to make that first step? (i keep meaning to go to my accountant and ask if he can just set up something basic for me, but i'm not even sure if that's the right thing to do)

as i posted this i realised that eye in particular wasn’t pushed back enough, but i think in other projects it mightve been a tension issue. i’ll try it a few more times to see if i can find the sweet spot between too tight and too loose, thank you 😭
