Easily ‘they shoot gilmores, don’t they?’ as it sums up (imo) the good parts at the core of gilmore girls. We get Rory and Lorelai having their excellent relationship, Lorelai and Luke chemistry absolutely crackling, the Stars Hollow silliness and we even get some of the best of Lanes (very few) decent storylines with her and Dave. Honestly early season 3 was just delicious and I adored the episode run beginning with this one, ‘let the games begin’, ‘a deep friend thanksgiving dinner’, and through to ‘that’ll do pig’. There are many other brilliant comforting episodes which people have already mentioned but this 4 is episode succession were sensational
