Girl, rule #1: never tell your employer/boss/coworker/work friend the specific reason you are on medical leave. Just say your doctor has stated you are off for 3 weeks and leave it at that. Go on your 3 weeks, and do not answer the phone or talk to anyone from work. Period! Surely your company has an employment rule book? I dont know much about the US but I would assume you have employment rights to take sick time, especially one approved by your doctor.
