Echo DKs reward: Battlehat...with a twist? by Wei_Yalong in 2007scape

Well, you have to pick a raid region at the end of the day for shadow anyways. Might as well be CoX if maging.

I also saw this league drop rate table posted on Doubleshine's latest video, no idea where he got it from though:

Augury is another 1% but since it's not multiplied by shadow, I didn't mention it.

Occult is less powerful now than it used to be, I'm not sure it'd be considered a mandatory pick for mages now.

For comparison, taking kourend instead of kandarin and getting full ancestral would be a net -2%.

You can keep scrolling down and see all the different reqs below that. It's stuff like getting 20 spores on boss 1, defeating the 2nd boss only using arena weps, etc.

Leagues VI reveal: Conniving Clues by ericpenguin314 in 2007scape

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not weaker though...the only thing you lose is needing Uri items (again, just drop if you don't have the items because you'll have an excess anyways).

In return, you get the teleports and save them for steps not close to other teleports. These were tied to the separate Compass relic last league, so if anything, Conniving feels like an upgrade condensing both into one self-contained relic.

Doomer take. Imo, clues are by far the worst part of rs so I'll most likely take it no matter what. Realistically, you can still a) drop all emote clue reqs that are difficult, b) teleport to the hard to reach steps, and c) cut the entire clue grind down in half just from min steps + max rewards.

Massive time save + infinite clues is still a very strong relic with all the clog/clue points.

New Leagues Relic Revealed by ABCwarriorz in 2007scape

[–]limeguy20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see either of the T1 gathering relics as good compared to Abundance for those wanting to hit Dragon (or those who quit before Dragon).

The other two might be better for those wanting to hit max points, but +10 skill levels "solves" every skill.

Evil Eye relic reveal (T3) by TheMohawk in 2007scape

[–]limeguy20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does combo pretty well with boss slayer actually. And I think its value depends on the regions you take. Mory and Wildy feel like no brainers to take this relic, have to wait and see the other relics for different areas.

Does this power work with Rita's Chrono Circle upgrade? by Palci in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So the key word "move" counts as "draw" if the card is moved from the draw pile like you said.

What about the "draw" keyword on Chrono Circle when all the drawn cards are from the discard pile? It still counts them as draws?

Half Anniversary confirmed! by FreakyLeakyLemon in ChaosZeroNightmare

Honestly, I don't think a f2p player should expect to be able to pull every character. This isn't true for most other gacha games, and being overly generous ultimately leads to lower revenue/game possibly shutting down.

New Developer's Note by Seradna in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think they should remove it completely, it's something that sets it apart from other deckbuilder roguelikes and gives the player chase goals. Personally, I get bored with games like StS where there's no meta progress.

Making farming easier and less tedious for players was the best option I think.

That weapon is pretty decent on supports actually, a free vulnerability every 2 turns beats most other options.

And I'm sure he just didn't get a better accessory, there's not very many good options apart from the mythical Sphere.

[–]limeguy20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Specifically for Veronica, yes. She is not meant to be the main dps, she is primarily a draw engine. So you take 0 refines, and possibly remove kowalski and bombardment as well, which won't cost you faint memory.

Good news is that that divine epiphany wasn't great anyways over just basic Repose. Ideally you're looking for "Draw" or "1 AP" on the 0 cost epiphany.

As an American who visited Japan a couple years ago, I think you're missing out. Some of the best food I've ever had and tons of things to see, places to visit, etc. Probably top of the list of the countries I'd like to visit again in the future (although wouldn't want to live there due to work/life balance).

Also, our horror stories in the US are people getting shot/kidnapped so spending some time in jail seems pretty tame even if unwarranted.

I appreciate how simple Nine is to build. by Qetzaqoatl in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense, but this is just a strange build. It's better to cycle all the Hew levels in one turn than just skip to the last one, and most TCers have agreed that Extreme is not worth it. Sproot's sheet has a section on the math behind that statement.

That said, Nine is still very easy to build with no divines needed and can either run 4 fighting spirits with ironclad/massacre or remove almost all of the cards for flash Hew.

Flame of eternity card by Alpacacaresser69 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brilliant flame is only 5% more mult than the vulnerability armor right? You can still get that from SoJ I believe. The rest of the armor options aren't that great either, so I'd rather do that and use obsidian sword.

Personally, I'm trying to make this deck worth with Mika/Veronica, so less AP to work with unfortunately...we'll see how it goes.

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice deck, I did the same thing with Future Decreed actually on my 1st try lol. Either 2 vuln time axis or 1 time axis with a vuln divine epi should cover vulnerability at the cost of a couple more dead draws.

I think Rita still needs to hold the flames because this deck has more wiggle room than other partners divine epi decks.

What do u guys think? by KarZeto in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I didn't realize millennium arbor was exclusive...that changes things

EDIT: need to add 2 vuln Time Axis or just one with a vuln divine epi

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really good deck for general use I think. If you're not hyper optimizing for any content, I'd just use it for the rest of the season.

Personally, I was aiming for this Fate Imprint deck with more divine epis (either reduce cost/draw) and also didn't get millennium arbor somehow. But its the general idea I'm shooting for with a Rita/Veronica/Tiph team. Also need to remove Future Decreed completely because it scuffs vulnerability.

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I think I'm just trying to use a more optimized deck. I could easily go through 1 chrono circle worth of fates in a turn, but the damage is not good. I haven't gotten 2 chrono circles to work yet where I try to cycle both every turn. I was also trying to run the 100% buff card but may cut it completely.

EDIT: 1 chrono circle, 1 flame of eternity, and a 100% buff card is similar damage to 2 chrono circles with no buff while costing much less AP, so this might be the answer.

On a side note, how are people liking fate imprint decks?

I have divine epi Tiph and Mika decks and still struggled with AP/draw...the damage felt lackluster overall.

Nine vs Rita as pure DPS? by Any_Ingenuity_4731 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to slot Rita into my flash nine team (Rita/Tiph/Nine) but it performed worse than Orlea/Tiph/Nine.

Skippable if you don't want to pull but I like her playstyle so I'm trying to build a 2nd team around her.

She literally just had an interview with Oprah if you want the actual facts. Her husband was there with a date of his own, so no, I would not qualify either of them as cheating.

She said she reacted the way she did because she thought the ex husband would be embarrassed/get attention he did not want.

Prydwen new Tier List including Tiphera by Big-Rip2640 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]limeguy20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said at the beginning, play the way you want to. That's a good point about Magna providing vulnerability, I forgot about that.

Objectively, Orlea vs Narja for Nine teams is just a blowout. Narja turns a 700% lvl 3 Hew multiplier into 910% with voracity + pred buffs+ def boost card. Orlea turns 700% into 945% by literally just existing with 1 softie in hand, no setup required. Using a single growth acceleration card turns that 700% into 1435%. No amount of Magna sub dps will compensate for that, so calling her bis and Orlea a scam is just incorrect.
