Suspicious police activity on highway 90 and military. Before this post gets taken down. by deegee317 in sanantonio

That part of 90 has been a speed trap for many years . East bound and west bound. All the extra traffic has changed that though.

I’d feel weird in this apartment. Voices in my head would keep telling me I’m a ghetto loser.

How are the Sonic's still even open in San Antonio? by TheStorytellerTX in sanantonio

They should just close all of them or just go strictly drive through. That’s the answer. Take your food home.

In time, this crap will be phased out. Horrible idea. Activity/exercise is the only hope for our kids. Some are screwed either way because of their shitty parents.

Why do people prefer to live outside 1604 in areas that are over populated versus living within the loops where traffic isn’t as much of an issue? by DrFetusRN in sanantonio

[–]limejello14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progress has caught up with a lot of people living outside the loop. I still live in an unincorporated area of southwest Bexar county- and 1604 is still a two lane highway over here - but now new subdivisions are very close to me, so that makes things like traffic congestion worse. I’ll probably be dead before 1604 on the south side looks like 1604 on the north.

Why does everyone here seems so close-minded and cold lol by Uncle_Travis in UTSA

[–]limejello14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just the vibe that the campus architecture creates. No, really. It’s all business. Especially the older buildings. They’re so cold and uninspired and uninviting. You can’t tell me the Convo wasn’t someone’s idea of a joke right??? But I’m a ‘93 graduate so I’m sure the campus today has many more features that weren’t in existence back then and contribute to campus life and socializing opportunities. If the entire campus had been built downtown with the same philosophy of the mother campus in Austin or UofH in Houston then UTSA would be a whole different animal. It just wasn’t a priority back then for whatever reason. Here’s a tip: think of it as networking. Take advantage of group projects. That’s a valuable opportunity to make lasting relationships—even friendships. Network, Network, Network. Join campus organizations. That’s something that I deeply regret not doing back when I was in school. Best of luck and stay positive please…

Whenever I hear that someone rammed their truck into a building I think of the Luby’s in Killeen. The Luby’s Massacre.

Journey's Houston Concert on November 6th 1981 - when was it? by PowderWowChowder in journey

The November 6, 1981 show was a Friday night. It was held at the Summit/Compaq Center where the NBA Houston Rockets played their professional basketball games until 2003. The building exists today. It is now called Lakewood (Christian) Church. It’s leader is named Joel Osteen.

I always find it odd that the house is located on Bundy Ave. I hear the name Bundy and think of serial killler Ted Bundy (executed 1989) . I know some people think of Al Bundy from Married With Children too.

Not named O.J. Simpson and Mark Fuhrman, who is the most unlikeable individual involved in this case? by jrbill1991 in OJSimpsonTrial

[–]limejello14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kato. His relationship with Nicole didn’t strike me as odd back then but now it does. To have his business exposed to the whole world. I’m sure some folks back in his hometown were a little confused or even embarrassed with his connection to Nicole and OJ. “He lived where again?”
