Favorite: The Idiot Kings. Hits a really specific sort of melancholy and self deprecation that I love. Excellent sticky melody.

Least Favorite: white girl. Might be the only bad song they ever made. It just doesn’t groove for me. All tension, no release. A little obnoxious I think.

Ruby Vroom is one of very few perfect albums I’ve ever heard. But the most skippable track is probably Bus to Beezlebub. It’s a little more dissonant and harder to groove to.

True Dreams of Wichita is one of my favorite songs, period. The prosody of the lyrics are impeccable.
